A couple of years ago I bought the Merlin "Chigwell Lite" from Urban Rider, and last year the Knox "Honister." Both are outstanding pieces of kit, highly breathable and function as designed. A word about Knox: a few years ago I bought the 'A' version of the Urbane Pro, and what impresses me most about their gear is that the armour stays in place, exactly as it should. So if you have a pair of riding jeans/trousers, or jacket where the armour doesn't sit "just so," wearing a Knox armoured underlayer eliminates any worry. Amazing gear!
This is by FAR my favorite channel for moto gear. Love these recommendation videos, and I’ve already built a full kit based on the videos showing what you guys wear. Keep pushing this content! :)
I have the rev-it jacket and even with a decent back protector I just never felt that in a tumble it was going to offer much protection at all. It’s a really lightweight jacket and yes it looks good but it didn’t fill me with confidence when getting a move on. I think if you had a scooter or slower city type bike it would be great for short commutes. I have just purchased a Knox urban pro and whilst that certainly is not going to provide the same protection as leather skidding along the tarmac at least it is fitted to your body and comes fully loaded with half decent armour especially if you get the optional chest protection. I guess we always have to accept that on a bike we are somewhat compromised especially with vented summer kit. Still anything has to be better than the guys I’ve seen riding sports bikes at 160plus in a tee shirt and shorts on RUclips.
Hi there, was looking to get a Kox urban pro. I currently have a Revit Eclipse 2 in a XL. Do you wear the same size on Knox and Revit, or did they change? Tks
Is the chest on the Knox Urbane Pro meant to be very tight? I’ve tried three sizes and can’t get the fit quite right. Large fits except the chest feels tighter than the rest.
Hi, great video review some nice jackets here, im in the market for a light summer jacket but i would prefer leather. What are your lightest leather jackets stocked at Urban Rider?
Hi Conor, it's very hard to find a 'light' leather jacket as they need to be certain thickness to be safety approved etc. We recommend looking at www.urbanrider.co.uk/merlin-ridge-leather-jacket-black.html and www.urbanrider.co.uk/belstaff-cheetham-leather-jacket-black.html . Hope this helps ! - Iza
I have a couple mesh jackets and none of them can handle Arizona in the summer so far. I would like something with even more airflow because I won't ride without gear.

Some really cool jackets there. Do trousers give similar protection?
Hi! It depends on models but most do! - Iza
I've been wearing the shenstone for a bit over 2 years now and it's been great.
Hi Greg, that's great to hear! :) - Iza
Never talk about which has the best abrasion resistance on these jackets.
All surpassed by the brilliant Klim Marakesh
Great video thanks!
Glad you liked it!

Hi Davie, the jacket itself should feel like a second skin, however you should still feel comfortable. - Iza
Do you have store in london??
Hi, Yes we do! You can find more details here: www.urbanrider.co.uk/london_store - Iza
Urban Rider's top five mesh jackets come out and it starts raining again.
The weather is not kind this year so far! Hopefully it will get much better soon to really kick off the riding season :) - Iza

@@UrbanRiderlondon great, thank you.
Love that you stated belstaff mansion can be used as an alternative as i was wondering how they stacked up between each other.
Why do they design this stuff in black? Do they know it makes them hotter? :(
I generally don‘t like wearing color 😂
Those are cool jackets apart from the hideous front pockets. What's up with those, anyway?
Knox Retailer in America? Looking for recommendations.
They are really way too warm for summer saison .

@@garrett1144 Did you end up finding something apropriate?
Do any of us who've got a UK licence look like these people who are modelling the jackets? If it's not a small list you lying
