A duet that is chock-full of Jazzy 7th chords and a beautiful, beginner-friendly melody. This duet was written with two levels of playing in mind:
    Melody: Beginner Players
    Chords: Advanced Players
Let’s start off talking about the melody. This song features a catchy and relatively simple melody that serves an excellent study for understanding rhythmic notation. In other words, this is a great melody for working on counting rhythms and tapping your foot along (quarter notes - on the beat: 1 2 3 4) while you play. In part 1 of the video lesson, we will be covering all of this in complete detail.
On the contrast, the rhythm for the chords is primarily quarter notes. The challenge here lies in the shapes and chord voicings that are used. Most of the chords involve barring or fretting with 4 fingers simultaneously. Thus, I recommend this section for more advanced players that are looking to increase your left hand dexterity and chord repertoire.
