- On April 1, 2023, the Sonic Boom of the South hosted their annual "Day with the Boom" on the campus of Jackson State University. Over 600+ high-schoolers had the opportunity to meet the band staff, learn from student leaders and perform music WITH the Sonic Boom of the South. "Day with the Boom" is an annual fundraiser and recruitment tool hosted by the Sonic Boom of the South. Enjoy!

You may be on to something… Im a former marcher for an HBCU .. in my 40’s and that young man absolutely has it ! Love watching him - wish I would’ve known about him before to catch him live.
These young people are amazing but the formula was perfected with Marvin and the other 4 J’s! ❤❤❤ Their shoes will be hard to fill. The best that I’ve seen and i’ve been around for a while.😊
