Sometimes thats me but I actually have jean as sub DPS and healer and Xiangling as my main DPS while Xingqiu and Beidou are support. I also have Klee but I don't really need her (I literally need C6 Xiangling and Barbara :') )
@Marigold ¡ lol yea i can defeat regisvine pyro with just her and lumine anemo, she's very useful in that boss breaking the special points, and the best part is that both barbara and lumine are with full life when i finish the fight
I did this and my AR/World Level kept increasing... Now I can't beat the material bosses with the one character, but can't get the ascension materials to level up others either. It's just... Tragic
Sort of the same, the only character i have almost the entire constelation is barbara, and thats mostly because we got SO MANY of her via events, i think that i also pulled 2 barbaras.
Some / most of the C1s are extremely strong.. but constellations are not really necessary. And getting to C6 is nearly impossible without whaling or luck / badluck anyways, especially for 5*s^^ But yeah.. those artifacts man.. they just dont like to drop with appropriate stats. And that they can even drop with the wrong element% just adds insult to injury.
I think you would be even more lucky on maxing constellation if you choose a event banner that has a side 4 star that matches your character duplicates. Like if I roll on the banner with xingqiu as a side character than I have a chance of maxing his constellation. I already got C2 of him. Also if fischl becomes a side 4 star to max I will go with that banner too. I am currently at 80 rolls saved for the next banner of my choice. This is f2p with a playstation gift card to unlock battle pass rewards one time. Other than that I have been saving since october.
Me focus on amber, Lisa, Barbara and lumine: how am I supposed to deal with those monsters if two of them died? Cuz I'm very bad at fighting with those monsters also I use Barbara for health support
AR35+ is gonna suck for you then... I WISH we could get more resources being AR43... despite having 5 characters at lv80... Thankfully the gap between lv80 and lv90 is long so I can manage a bit with what i got access to. Lv80 is unlocked at AR40 but lv90 is unlocked at AR50 AND it's taking a very long time to gain 1 AR now.
Depends on which AR you made this statement on. If you are AR50+, maybe i'll believe it. Otherwise you simply skip out on other needed ressources which become your weakness. I'm AR47 and so far i did not have a single day i did not have a particular use for my resin.. so lifetime i got to loot a grand total of 8 leylines i believe. All of which were looted to spend my first resin since it was the only activity i could do back then.. so yeah.. I'd like to farm leylines for a whole day or so too tho.. they are fun, even if a bit short. If just the game let us lol.
@@Yamyatos I just do my commissions and do some domains every day, I only farm the outcrops when I need the resource, but I do have a lot of fun doing it, and by only farming things when I need to, I get to save a lot of resin

Focusing on two characters has always been something I've put to mind when I started the game but later on, quickly proved to be easier said than done as possibilities for new and better team comps arrive with almost every new character you pull. Also, what makes it tricky is when you have some characters you have previously not paid much attention to but you are now getting constellations for them and even new weapons that perfectly suit them that you are now inclined to build them up as it would be a waste not to after getting all those new stuff for them.
This. I got a c6 noelle. Im AR 44 and now I'm tempted to use her but she doesn't fit in any of my built team comps. Im hesitant because of the humongous amount of mora and xp books I needed to make her catchup with my team.
@@fbiagent6456 At C6 Noelle can literally be a main DPS, and a super tanky one at that. Look up some example videos, i'd say it's probably worth it. Especially if you got one spare claymore prototype to craft her a whileblend. But yeah.. EXP books.. the bane of all our existances.

Actually you don't even need to waste Exp books to level up support characters to 70, it's enough to ascend them but leave them at 60, if you only want their 2nd talent.
agree. i think what in the video mentions is more into the ascension, where to unlock 2nd passive, its on the 4th ascension, which unlock the capability to level up to lvl 70 i always leave my supp on 60/70, or even lower if the 2nd passive isn't that beneficial (e.g. kaeya's 2nd passive)

To be honest, I've been treating this game really casual until a few weeks ago and the change was staggering as I have just been leveling up my characters and just switching rarest items on them whenever I saw something purple in my rewards. Learned in AR 30 that you could level up talents, weapons and artifacts and had so many stuff to spare I maxed out some artifact sets and getting my weapons as strong as I could, like one sword I got to level 50 in one go and now the game feels like night and day. Timed challenges still are a pain in the arse tho'.
ive watch a good number of guides too that i dunno what im doing anymore XD. plus i have too many character that are stuck at lvl1-20...Klee,Qiqi,Childe.

sam here BUT, you should always build a counter for the element of your main. for example me i main KEQING also. When i am farming artifacts for her, the element in midsummers are ICE some other are electro. so BASUCALLY ITS GOOD TO LEVEL 2 DPS. 1 MAIN then 1 SUB DPS COUNTER TO THE ELEMENT OF YOUR MAIN. in my case either pyro or cryo sub dps, in my case its xiangling. then venti. (i mean he is venti, the suck hole God)
Exactly, I do not plan to hurt myself with grinding just for the sake of high numbers. When I'll be done with quests and exploration, I'll just quit and wait for the next patch / events I'm leveling my characters to be able to explore more of this world, I do not explore this world to level up my characters

That's exactly my opinion, too Especially since everything in this game is too expensive so I have to stay f2p (especially after the price rise). The only problem about being more laid back is when the world level rises automatically and you're not too well prepared... =_=
No joke ppl have to remember this. However I blame the retarded difficulty lvls of Abyss, where I'm pretty sure there's videos of ppl beating the lowest lvls but only with multiple 5* characters, maybe even 5* weps. With content THAT difficult it makes sense why all the minmaxing. honestly tho they should probably lower the difficulty of that, they already did for Childe boss fight, and I didn't find It THAT hard.
I feel like they should add a reset feature so you can reset the level of a character get back 50-80% of the resources back (For example i wanted to try sucrose support, didn’t end up liking it now i want those resources to another character to test out a new support). Also when i started the game I got razor and I wanted him as my main DPS he is C0 and now I have a C3 Beidou so i want to change them

It's not really which characters you get it's how you build them cause if you don't use artifacts, or change weapons, level up characters, ascend characters, or level up talent then your characters are going to suck. That's just my view of it though

Diona is often forgotten because Qiqi exists and Kaeya, Lisa and Amber are tutorial characters many people claim to be bad. Tbh i don’t feel like he put any extra importance on the 5stars when he showed stuff, he just has them and uses them regularly (or so it seems for me, his videos rarely show up on my feed so I can only guess)
But don’t forget, to have fun with your team. It will literally make your fights more enjoyable. I previously had Diluc, Keqing, Mc and Xiangling and thought I was really smart and it’s basically the best comb for me, so I can benefit out of double pyro (25% increased atk on your team) and I was thought that overload was the best elemental reaction. But recently changed the Mc and Xiangling to Mona and Diona now after figuring out how much fun that combination is, you literally get into fights with so much more enthusiasm it makes you life easier.
exactly, after I finished a lot of the exploring and the story I got really bored because I just didn't have fun with the heroes I currently had/got bored of them and then I got really lucky and got both childe and Ningguang in my first 10 pull of the banner and I just have loved them so much that even though I'm done with the story, which is usually mostly what I look for in a game, and I'm loving building my characters and fighting in the abyss and stuff. I think Ningguang has the most satisfying burst, basically just nuking everyone

Amazing video! I just focused on levelling up Noelle and Amber early game and they carried my entire party from AR1 to AR20 while on the way giving Lisa a few levels to give the overload effect with Amber Noelle is an absolute beast and I don't think she's gonna leave as my main anytime soon :)
I can't make any mistake. I take what the game has to offer for free and I got Razor, Barbara, Chongyun and Ninnguang (formally Kaeya, previously Noelle) but I'm missing a good pyro character and I don't like Xiangling and Amber's gameplay. In the end, find a team that is fun to play wich you like the gameplay as a whole! There's no bad or good characters, just charcaters you like playing together.
my 3 reasons: first: my traveler is my main dps and im fine with that (until i get my keqing) second: i dont spend money (gamble takes control over your bankaccount anytimes soon before its to late) last: i just wanna have a good time (and have all my stuff at max lvl)
@@Rexxsar101 he was my main dps once! He is a great character for early game! I used him as my main dps until AR34, he did very great. As support too, he is great! Basically he can be a dps AND a support, so you don't really waste materials if you leveled him up.
Chongyun is a tricky character to use if u plan to always utilize superconduct considering all damage done (by a polearm/sword/claymore) within chongyun's e is considered cryo dmg whereas superconduct only reduces physical resistance :""). Still love him though (built him as a main dps!) He's real quick to cause any cryo elemental reaction (with good dmg) but definitely rethink if you don't have any element to act as support besides electro
Well all my character are DPS equally Noelle - Shield!!! Traveller - Time for a Mix up! Fischl - has a .50 Cal sniper Xiangling - poke poke, Flame up!!!
I have Tartaglia as my main DPS with Diluc as the sub DPS for when Tartaglia’s water daggers are in Cooldown. Then, I use Jean as a healer and Fischl as a starter for combo reactions, I think that’s a pretty solid team.
There is one main problem in F2P games and that is one mistake can cost you a lot of time. Like i've been leveling up all my characters but if you want to be efficient you'll need to max the main DPS first and max the support in some field only (like diona elemental skill only for example). I really recommend people to look for guides if you want to play efficiently, especially if you don't have a lot of time to go gaming. Don't go blind if you want to clear the endgame. Immediately look for guides like this channel has provided since the dawn of time. That is why i'm very grateful for the guide! Great video!

I stick to it that i level 14 of my 19 Chars to lvl 80 and then to lvl 90 later on for now (Would level up the Rest when im done with everything else, but at least when Inazuma is soon to be released in some Months, i will start to collect EXP Books and Mora for possible new Characters like Kamisato Ayaka) Spiral Abyss wont run away and otherwise we dont have much else to do until at least maybe 1.4 when Inazuma comes out. So far im "almost" there. Lumina is Lvl 75, almost 76, Barbara, Amber and Fischl are lvl 73, Diluc is lvl 72, Klee is lvl 70 (not ascended to rank 5), Chongyun is lvl 70 (also not ascended to rank 5), Diona, Xianling and Noelle are Lvl 60 and need to ascend them to Rank 4, then i have Razor on lvl 56, Venti Lvl 54, Jean on Lvl 40 Ascension rank 3, Beidou lvl 40 Ascension Rank 3, Lisa lvl 50 ( not ascended to rank 4 yet), otherwise i have Ninguang on lvl 10, Kaeya and Sucrose on Lvl 20 ( ascension rank 1) and Xingqiu on Lvl 40 ascension Rank 2. If i will get Qiqi in the Future and Keqing it would be perfect ( i would stop leveling up Razor and get Keqing first up to lvl 80/90) Weapons are mostly between Lvl 50-73, and only Luminas 1 Hand Sword is lvl 80 so far, Talents are lvl 4 for all so far except the newer Characters ( since i didnt run many Domains where you get the Books the last 2 Weeks and concentrated more on Elite Mobs and Mora/EXP Book Leylines) And even though i didnt have farmed a Single Artifact from Domains so far ( im AR 46) i dont have Problems in World level 6. If i need it, i have Tons of Bufffood for fighting World Bosses or other SItuations. A good Amount of Monster Mats is also there, even though i didnt farmed much the last 2 weeks too and mostly kill some Cecillia Mages, Fatui Agents or Abyss Mages every Day + every Hilichurl (especially the ones with Crossbows) when i do some Daily Stuff.
ok so this is my team. I’m a little new, adventure rank 25, but here it is. Traveler level 42: main dps, fun with anemo. Amber level 40: fire, bow for range. Occasionally switch to amber for elemental burst then throw out baron bunny, but he doesn’t seem to do much damage. Hoping to replace amber with fischl and beidou with xiangling because i’m just tired of amber’s existence. Barbara: water + healing. I need to use the “hitting things with barbara while melody loop is active heals the whole team” more. Beidou: claymore for breaking, electro because reactions are fun, and good for tanking a few hits with the counter attack. I have lisa, kaeya, diona, xingqiu (that’s the little water sword guy, right?), xiangling, and noelle.
This feels like a video from a playlist of what I wish I would have known at the beginning of playing the game, before I leveled up all my characters and talents as much as I could. Now I realize the best way forward is to realize you don't have to do EVERYTHING.
To make an even bigger point on how important a balanced team built correctly can deal damage, look up Mona doing over a million damage, and how the calculations break down that let her deal so much.

You can win with them. Xialing and Barbara the healer are free ( prizes of quests). Noelle is easy to obtain in the welcome wishes ( 10, in your imbox, ingame). My team for the bosses is basically formed by free characters. :) ( adv. rank 43, level characters is 70 )

Klee is so much fun I understand you, I remember those shield guys used to be a pain in the butt since I didn't use any pyro before I didn't like amber but Klee just melts through them
I use beidou as my main damage dealer and barbara as my healer/second damage dealer, that way, I can ulti with beidou, and switch to barbara for that nice water+lightning elemental damage while I heal
I mainly focus on PvE aspect and I'm still not that high in Adventure Rank (29, almost 30). Still, these tips will work well once the challenges are tougher (things like high Spiral Abyss levels) and also wish my luck in gacha was better Can say you're probably the best Genshin RUclips channel to visit in case you need guides, or tips, or anything like that.
literally half of this video is padding and geared towards whales. - They assume you rolled until you got Venti 2:45 - They assume you had the gems to maybe get Sucrose (again 2:45) - They assume you had the gems to maybe get Diona (first half of this video) - They make these statements literally ONLY showcasing entire teams obtained through Gacha and use completely upgraded 5* damage as "you could be here." (like we have the resources or income to actually obtain these numbers unless our income comes from donations or content creation) - They make assumptions we actually have readily available access to 4* weapons (though I will give credit to recognizing "[...]The Dragon Slayers" catalyst since this 3* book is highly overlooked) - They assume everyone is playing for Spiral Abyss endgame (is everyone supposed to have dumped at least $100 [minimum] to acquire the best weapons and characters to tackle it?) - They don't actually start giving you reasonable advice until 4:33 where most players would actually be at. Yes it's good to say "here's your goal once you get to this point." No it's not okay to say "here's why your team is weak. Spend more money to get these characters to be like me." Because that's literally what the first half of this video is. Either that or they wanted to make it long enough for ad revenue. Yes: conserve resources, be smart when using resin, focus on your front two characters first before the rest of your team. People have been saying for weeks. 4:43 this card IS the most important statement of the video. It should have started here. You need to learn the element system and the interactions between elements to maximize your damage output and survival rate. You REALLY have to pick through this video to find the actual nuggets of useful information for your "normal" player. Videos like this are also why more people get discouraged and quit despite the fact the vast majority of the roster can be "End Game" (depending on what you call "End Game") if you level and pair correctly. There's a reason why only 10% of the viewership give this video a thumbs up. They're either supporters of the channel or spend enough money to agree with these statements. Please think about this when making your content. Otherwise, you should start naming your videos like "3 reasons why my team out damages yours" or "Spend More Money to Get Gud Like Me!"
I actually agree with that, and another point that I would like to make. What if you are interested in the characters, and you would like to learn more about their back story. You would still need to get those companion exp, which means you would need to bring them in battle. Sure you can bring your 2 main DPS characters, plus the ones you mostly don't use, and just put them in the party for the exp, but wouldn't it be easier to bring them along for support though? I don't know, sometimes I just like to have a full powered up party to make things easier for me.
@@ckpn4771 Does it really matter if this is for players going for spiral abyss or not, since if the World Rank increase, the whole enemies and bosses will get stronger, thus harder to kill and farm.

"End game content" at this point can also refer to the current World level cap, the current AR cap and/or the highest available selections for domains to farm artifacts. In fact, most players I talk with regularly are at that "purely farming" standstill where they want to do the event, but they also want continue farming for artifacts to improve their characters. They aren't playing with entire 5* teams or have all gold artifacts because they simply can't afford to blow through the limitations by waving a credit card of paying for it through viewership profits.
maybe at the end of the game, the traveler gathered all 7 elements and can switch elements without needing to resonate with the statue. and we will automatically have 7 elements at their highest ability

I just have a little small consideration: english is not my first language and, because of that, the speed that you speak make the things a little bit dificult for me to understand everything. Too bad for any character to perform optimally (except EM/ER related ones that don't boost EM or ER from ascending), you need to max ascension characters... Still focus on DPS first, then healer, then so on. But majority of stuff in the game runs off Atk, HP, or Level... Hey? Guess what increases from ascensions? Not to mention Talent caps are locked by ascensions too. Plus, there's a level difference formula when damage is into account, even damage you TAKE. Simply put, don't slack on your character's levels, but don't go leveling up everyone at the same time. More important characters first, and it's best not to raise more than 4 until at least lv80 is hit on the main 4 (lv90 to be safe).
@@PrinceVinc then why was my barbara taking over 5 digit hits at lv70 from lv80 enemies, but now that she's also lv80, she can't even get hit for more than 4k damage? that stuff compounds. Level difference seems small on it's own, but it's still a multiplier and multipliers stack
@@DarkFrozenDepths that is because the game takes into consideration who is the highest lvl. either you or the mob. if you are, you will hit harder, if he is, he will hit harder. this indeed matter but i would rather dodge and use food than having 50000k wits to lvl 8 chars lol . i would not be tanking dmg with barbara for that reason :)
@@meanoflife11 it's true that dodging is better in the case of taking damage, but you still reduce the damage you give. why use a lv50 DPS when you can use a lv60 DPS? especially since base stats affect how much your artifacts give and in turn that all affects the damage by what talents multiply. Character ascensions lock off talents and upgrades, weapons are the biggest factor into base stats, artifacts run off base stats, talents can amplify damage output and healing... it's all inked together so neglecting one thing usually screws up everything else. Plus it's kinda hard to aim for "optimal gameplay" if you aren't being optimal in raising everything about the character you're using.
@@PrinceVinc i didn't even change artifacts either cause I was more focused on getting character levels up. but now that I'm done with part 2 of the event, I'm going to go try to get artifacts since the lv80 stuff is easily doable now
Dang I thought this was going to be new tips, these are the same tips from launch lol. Also you should definitely invest in more then 2 characters especially in late game as you start to approach ar 40 and up. I have 6 characters at lvl 80 and most of them have their abilities @ lvl 10 cause I have their constellation maxed out and I’m working on 2 more characters now. Most people slept on the elemental crucible event but I farmed it and had more then enough books to lvl up multiple characters. A tip from me to anyone who reads this and something I wish I knew and i never hear anyone talk about is when you go to do the mission to ascend your ar make sure you have your character at the current max level for your current adventure rank and you have all the materials to ascend your characters to its next level before you do the mission to ascend your ar rank or enemies are going to be op and your going to get stuck. it’s going to be hard to farm the materials you need unless you have a friend who can carry you.

You using Noelle as a healer hurts my soul Me when using Noelle: "NOELLE MAD! NOELLE HULK SMASH!" >proceeds to nuke everything in a 5 mile radius with pure def build and ultimate
Prior to the meteorite update, I'd been farming for viridiscent geat for the better part of a month. All my resin was spent in that one dungeon. There were many pieces of viridiscent that I threw into fodder because of terrible substats, like def or hp. But, as of now, my lv 68 Venti's equipment is almost perfect: Stringless Viridiscent 4pc minus the crown, which is a sojourner with crit rate. I only use him for ele skill/burst spam, after inflicting pyro with Xiangling or Bennett, and he clears rooms. His burst is usually fully charged with 5-7 seconds left on the cd timer. At this point, he's not leaving my main team.

Me when I like geo characters: elemental reaction who? I shield and crystallize. Hahahaha. I just use sucrose and xiangling for grouping mobs but noelle and ningguang does the werk

My damage really got high after I changed my characters from Keqing, Childe, Diluc and Venti to Childe, Bennett, Sucrose and Ning Supports really do make a difference
get a cryo character in there to apply super conduct (debuffs enemies physical defense) since razor since 80% of razor's damage is actually physical and not electro so maybe Kaeya as his burst will float around you in melee range while you whack shit in razors burst auto applying super conduct as you attack naturally

There is reasons my team is weak:
-Dont have good weapon/artifact
-No constellation
-Characters not match for wombo combo
Sort of the same, the only character i have almost the entire constelation is barbara, and thats mostly because we got SO MANY of her via events, i think that i also pulled 2 barbaras.
Some / most of the C1s are extremely strong.. but constellations are not really necessary. And getting to C6 is nearly impossible without whaling or luck / badluck anyways, especially for 5*s^^ But yeah.. those artifacts man.. they just dont like to drop with appropriate stats. And that they can even drop with the wrong element% just adds insult to injury.

I think you would be even more lucky on maxing constellation if you choose a event banner that has a side 4 star that matches your character duplicates. Like if I roll on the banner with xingqiu as a side character than I have a chance of maxing his constellation. I already got C2 of him. Also if fischl becomes a side 4 star to max I will go with that banner too. I am currently at 80 rolls saved for the next banner of my choice. This is f2p with a playstation gift card to unlock battle pass rewards one time. Other than that I have been saving since october.

Depends on which AR you made this statement on. If you are AR50+, maybe i'll believe it. Otherwise you simply skip out on other needed ressources which become your weakness. I'm AR47 and so far i did not have a single day i did not have a particular use for my resin.. so lifetime i got to loot a grand total of 8 leylines i believe. All of which were looted to spend my first resin since it was the only activity i could do back then.. so yeah..
I'd like to farm leylines for a whole day or so too tho.. they are fun, even if a bit short. If just the game let us lol.

Focusing on two characters has always been something I've put to mind when I started the game but later on, quickly proved to be easier said than done as possibilities for new and better team comps arrive with almost every new character you pull. Also, what makes it tricky is when you have some characters you have previously not paid much attention to but you are now getting constellations for them and even new weapons that perfectly suit them that you are now inclined to build them up as it would be a waste not to after getting all those new stuff for them.

@@fbiagent6456 At C6 Noelle can literally be a main DPS, and a super tanky one at that. Look up some example videos, i'd say it's probably worth it. Especially if you got one spare claymore prototype to craft her a whileblend. But yeah.. EXP books.. the bane of all our existances.

Actually you don't even need to waste Exp books to level up support characters to 70, it's enough to ascend them but leave them at 60, if you only want their 2nd talent.

To be honest, I've been treating this game really casual until a few weeks ago and the change was staggering as I have just been leveling up my characters and just switching rarest items on them whenever I saw something purple in my rewards. Learned in AR 30 that you could level up talents, weapons and artifacts and had so many stuff to spare I maxed out some artifact sets and getting my weapons as strong as I could, like one sword I got to level 50 in one go and now the game feels like night and day. Timed challenges still are a pain in the arse tho'.
Timed challenges is the reason I'm ignoring about 4 quests in my list
I just suck, but I can get the job done since at least I'm good at dodging

sam here BUT, you should always build a counter for the element of your main. for example me i main KEQING also.
When i am farming artifacts for her, the element in midsummers are ICE some other are electro. so BASUCALLY ITS GOOD TO LEVEL 2 DPS. 1 MAIN then 1 SUB DPS COUNTER TO THE ELEMENT OF YOUR MAIN. in my case either pyro or cryo sub dps, in my case its xiangling. then venti. (i mean he is venti, the suck hole God)

I feel like they should add a reset feature so you can reset the level of a character get back 50-80% of the resources back
(For example i wanted to try sucrose support, didn’t end up liking it now i want those resources to another character to test out a new support). Also when i started the game I got razor and I wanted him as my main DPS he is C0 and now I have a C3 Beidou so i want to change them

It's not really which characters you get it's how you build them cause if you don't use artifacts, or change weapons, level up characters, ascend characters, or level up talent then your characters are going to suck. That's just my view of it though
Meanwhile he also showed Diona, Fischl, Amber, Razor, Kaeya and I can’t remember if also Lisa or if I imagined it.
Diona is often forgotten because Qiqi exists and Kaeya, Lisa and Amber are tutorial characters many people claim to be bad.
Tbh i don’t feel like he put any extra importance on the 5stars when he showed stuff, he just has them and uses them regularly (or so it seems for me, his videos rarely show up on my feed so I can only guess)
But don’t forget, to have fun with your team. It will literally make your fights more enjoyable.
I previously had Diluc, Keqing, Mc and Xiangling and thought I was really smart and it’s basically the best comb for me, so I can benefit out of double pyro (25% increased atk on your team) and I was thought that overload was the best elemental reaction. But recently changed the Mc and Xiangling to Mona and Diona now after figuring out how much fun that combination is, you literally get into fights with so much more enthusiasm it makes you life easier.

exactly, after I finished a lot of the exploring and the story I got really bored because I just didn't have fun with the heroes I currently had/got bored of them and then I got really lucky and got both childe and Ningguang in my first 10 pull of the banner and I just have loved them so much that even though I'm done with the story, which is usually mostly what I look for in a game, and I'm loving building my characters and fighting in the abyss and stuff. I think Ningguang has the most satisfying burst, basically just nuking everyone

Amazing video! I just focused on levelling up Noelle and Amber early game and they carried my entire party from AR1 to AR20 while on the way giving Lisa a few levels to give the overload effect with Amber

I take what the game has to offer for free and I got Razor, Barbara, Chongyun and Ninnguang (formally Kaeya, previously Noelle) but I'm missing a good pyro character and I don't like Xiangling and Amber's gameplay.
In the end, find a team that is fun to play wich you like the gameplay as a whole! There's no bad or good characters, just charcaters you like playing together.
Xaingling is really good tho.

I'd say buying the battle pass Is not really gambling it's showing support for a game where you spend a lot of hours of your freetime so why not.
The traveler will eventually have access to all seven elements though.

@@Rexxsar101 Pretty good main DPS I suppose, but a lot of characters overtake him imo. Even among 4*, I think Razor, Beidou and Ning are better.
@@Rexxsar101 he was my main dps once! He is a great character for early game! I used him as my main dps until AR34, he did very great. As support too, he is great! Basically he can be a dps AND a support, so you don't really waste materials if you leveled him up.
Chongyun is a tricky character to use if u plan to always utilize superconduct considering all damage done (by a polearm/sword/claymore) within chongyun's e is considered cryo dmg whereas superconduct only reduces physical resistance :"").
Still love him though (built him as a main dps!)
He's real quick to cause any cryo elemental reaction (with good dmg) but definitely rethink if you don't have any element to act as support besides electro

I have Tartaglia as my main DPS with Diluc as the sub DPS for when Tartaglia’s water daggers are in Cooldown. Then, I use Jean as a healer and Fischl as a starter for combo reactions, I think that’s a pretty solid team.

I didn’t spend a lot of money in the game, the only thing i bought is the Moon Blessing of $4.99 twice.
There is one main problem in F2P games and that is one mistake can cost you a lot of time. Like i've been leveling up all my characters but if you want to be efficient you'll need to max the main DPS first and max the support in some field only (like diona elemental skill only for example). I really recommend people to look for guides if you want to play efficiently, especially if you don't have a lot of time to go gaming. Don't go blind if you want to clear the endgame. Immediately look for guides like this channel has provided since the dawn of time. That is why i'm very grateful for the guide! Great video!

I stick to it that i level 14 of my 19 Chars to lvl 80 and then to lvl 90 later on for now (Would level up the Rest when im done with everything else, but at least when Inazuma is soon to be released in some Months, i will start to collect EXP Books and Mora for possible new Characters like Kamisato Ayaka)
Spiral Abyss wont run away and otherwise we dont have much else to do until at least maybe 1.4 when Inazuma comes out.
So far im "almost" there. Lumina is Lvl 75, almost 76, Barbara, Amber and Fischl are lvl 73, Diluc is lvl 72, Klee is lvl 70 (not ascended to rank 5), Chongyun is lvl 70 (also not ascended to rank 5), Diona, Xianling and Noelle are Lvl 60 and need to ascend them to Rank 4, then i have Razor on lvl 56, Venti Lvl 54, Jean on Lvl 40 Ascension rank 3, Beidou lvl 40 Ascension Rank 3, Lisa lvl 50 ( not ascended to rank 4 yet), otherwise i have Ninguang on lvl 10, Kaeya and Sucrose on Lvl 20 ( ascension rank 1) and Xingqiu on Lvl 40 ascension Rank 2.
If i will get Qiqi in the Future and Keqing it would be perfect ( i would stop leveling up Razor and get Keqing first up to lvl 80/90)
Weapons are mostly between Lvl 50-73, and only Luminas 1 Hand Sword is lvl 80 so far, Talents are lvl 4 for all so far except the newer Characters ( since i didnt run many Domains where you get the Books the last 2 Weeks and concentrated more on Elite Mobs and Mora/EXP Book Leylines)
And even though i didnt have farmed a Single Artifact from Domains so far ( im AR 46) i dont have Problems in World level 6. If i need it, i have Tons of Bufffood for fighting World Bosses or other SItuations.
A good Amount of Monster Mats is also there, even though i didnt farmed much the last 2 weeks too and mostly kill some Cecillia Mages, Fatui Agents or Abyss Mages every Day + every Hilichurl (especially the ones with Crossbows) when i do some Daily Stuff.
i need desperately a pyro character but only ones i have are amber and xiangling at constelation 0
Xiangling is pretty good though if you build her right.

ok so this is my team. I’m a little new, adventure rank 25, but here it is.
Traveler level 42: main dps, fun with anemo.
Amber level 40: fire, bow for range. Occasionally switch to amber for elemental burst then throw out baron bunny, but he doesn’t seem to do much damage. Hoping to replace amber with fischl and beidou with xiangling because i’m just tired of amber’s existence.
Barbara: water + healing. I need to use the “hitting things with barbara while melody loop is active heals the whole team” more.
Beidou: claymore for breaking, electro because reactions are fun, and good for tanking a few hits with the counter attack.
I have lisa, kaeya, diona, xingqiu (that’s the little water sword guy, right?), xiangling, and noelle.
This feels like a video from a playlist of what I wish I would have known at the beginning of playing the game, before I leveled up all my characters and talents as much as I could. Now I realize the best way forward is to realize you don't have to do EVERYTHING.

To make an even bigger point on how important a balanced team built correctly can deal damage, look up Mona doing over a million damage, and how the calculations break down that let her deal so much.

You can win with them. Xialing and Barbara the healer are free ( prizes of quests). Noelle is easy to obtain in the welcome wishes ( 10, in your imbox, ingame). My team for the bosses is basically formed by free characters. :) ( adv. rank 43, level characters is 70 )
the better mindset: focus on your main dps's level over others so it's easier on you and the entire team

Klee is so much fun I understand you, I remember those shield guys used to be a pain in the butt since I didn't use any pyro before I didn't like amber but Klee just melts through them
I use beidou as my main damage dealer and barbara as my healer/second damage dealer, that way, I can ulti with beidou, and switch to barbara for that nice water+lightning elemental damage while I heal

I mainly focus on PvE aspect and I'm still not that high in Adventure Rank (29, almost 30). Still, these tips will work well once the challenges are tougher (things like high Spiral Abyss levels) and also wish my luck in gacha was better

literally half of this video is padding and geared towards whales.
- They assume you rolled until you got Venti 2:45
- They assume you had the gems to maybe get Sucrose (again 2:45)
- They assume you had the gems to maybe get Diona (first half of this video)
- They make these statements literally ONLY showcasing entire teams obtained through Gacha and use completely upgraded 5* damage as "you could be here." (like we have the resources or income to actually obtain these numbers unless our income comes from donations or content creation)
- They make assumptions we actually have readily available access to 4* weapons (though I will give credit to recognizing "[...]The Dragon Slayers" catalyst since this 3* book is highly overlooked)
- They assume everyone is playing for Spiral Abyss endgame (is everyone supposed to have dumped at least $100 [minimum] to acquire the best weapons and characters to tackle it?)
- They don't actually start giving you reasonable advice until 4:33 where most players would actually be at.
Yes it's good to say "here's your goal once you get to this point." No it's not okay to say "here's why your team is weak. Spend more money to get these characters to be like me." Because that's literally what the first half of this video is. Either that or they wanted to make it long enough for ad revenue.
Yes: conserve resources, be smart when using resin, focus on your front two characters first before the rest of your team. People have been saying for weeks.
4:43 this card IS the most important statement of the video. It should have started here. You need to learn the element system and the interactions between elements to maximize your damage output and survival rate.
You REALLY have to pick through this video to find the actual nuggets of useful information for your "normal" player. Videos like this are also why more people get discouraged and quit despite the fact the vast majority of the roster can be "End Game" (depending on what you call "End Game") if you level and pair correctly.
There's a reason why only 10% of the viewership give this video a thumbs up. They're either supporters of the channel or spend enough money to agree with these statements. Please think about this when making your content. Otherwise, you should start naming your videos like "3 reasons why my team out damages yours" or "Spend More Money to Get Gud Like Me!"
I actually agree with that, and another point that I would like to make. What if you are interested in the characters, and you would like to learn more about their back story. You would still need to get those companion exp, which means you would need to bring them in battle. Sure you can bring your 2 main DPS characters, plus the ones you mostly don't use, and just put them in the party for the exp, but wouldn't it be easier to bring them along for support though? I don't know, sometimes I just like to have a full powered up party to make things easier for me.

"End game content" at this point can also refer to the current World level cap, the current AR cap and/or the highest available selections for domains to farm artifacts. In fact, most players I talk with regularly are at that "purely farming" standstill where they want to do the event, but they also want continue farming for artifacts to improve their characters. They aren't playing with entire 5* teams or have all gold artifacts because they simply can't afford to blow through the limitations by waving a credit card of paying for it through viewership profits.

maybe at the end of the game, the traveler gathered all 7 elements and can switch elements without needing to resonate with the statue. and we will automatically have 7 elements at their highest ability

invest fully in your main dps, then focus on other elements.
Too bad for any character to perform optimally (except EM/ER related ones that don't boost EM or ER from ascending), you need to max ascension characters...
Still focus on DPS first, then healer, then so on. But majority of stuff in the game runs off Atk, HP, or Level... Hey? Guess what increases from ascensions? Not to mention Talent caps are locked by ascensions too.
Plus, there's a level difference formula when damage is into account, even damage you TAKE. Simply put, don't slack on your character's levels, but don't go leveling up everyone at the same time. More important characters first, and it's best not to raise more than 4 until at least lv80 is hit on the main 4 (lv90 to be safe).

that stuff compounds. Level difference seems small on it's own, but it's still a multiplier and multipliers stack
@@DarkFrozenDepths that is because the game takes into consideration who is the highest lvl. either you or the mob. if you are, you will hit harder, if he is, he will hit harder. this indeed matter but i would rather dodge and use food than having 50000k wits to lvl 8 chars lol . i would not be tanking dmg with barbara for that reason :)
@@meanoflife11 it's true that dodging is better in the case of taking damage, but you still reduce the damage you give. why use a lv50 DPS when you can use a lv60 DPS? especially since base stats affect how much your artifacts give and in turn that all affects the damage by what talents multiply.
Character ascensions lock off talents and upgrades, weapons are the biggest factor into base stats, artifacts run off base stats, talents can amplify damage output and healing...
it's all inked together so neglecting one thing usually screws up everything else. Plus it's kinda hard to aim for "optimal gameplay" if you aren't being optimal in raising everything about the character you're using.

but now that I'm done with part 2 of the event, I'm going to go try to get artifacts since the lv80 stuff is easily doable now
Dang I thought this was going to be new tips, these are the same tips from launch lol. Also you should definitely invest in more then 2 characters especially in late game as you start to approach ar 40 and up. I have 6 characters at lvl 80 and most of them have their abilities @ lvl 10 cause I have their constellation maxed out and I’m working on 2 more characters now. Most people slept on the elemental crucible event but I farmed it and had more then enough books to lvl up multiple characters. A tip from me to anyone who reads this and something I wish I knew and i never hear anyone talk about is when you go to do the mission to ascend your ar make sure you have your character at the current max level for your current adventure rank and you have all the materials to ascend your characters to its next level before you do the mission to ascend your ar rank or enemies are going to be op and your going to get stuck. it’s going to be hard to farm the materials you need unless you have a friend who can carry you.
YES! Good advice! My mindset is to max out the current team. It's only when they can't progress further that I start maxing the others that I'm gonna play next.

Yeah you level up 2 characters in the beginning cause that’s all the resources you have at first but you definitely need more then 2 characters or you’re going to get wiped out when you go to switch to your lower characters to use their abilities. Prior to the meteorite update, I'd been farming for viridiscent geat for the better part of a month. All my resin was spent in that one dungeon. There were many pieces of viridiscent that I threw into fodder because of terrible substats, like def or hp. But, as of now, my lv 68 Venti's equipment is almost perfect:

Viridiscent 4pc minus the crown, which is a sojourner with crit rate.
I only use him for ele skill/burst spam, after inflicting pyro with Xiangling or Bennett, and he clears rooms. His burst is usually fully charged with 5-7 seconds left on the cd timer. At this point, he's not leaving my main team.

Me when I like geo characters: elemental reaction who? I shield and crystallize. Hahahaha. I just use sucrose and xiangling for grouping mobs but noelle and ningguang does the werk

get a cryo character in there to apply super conduct (debuffs enemies physical defense) since razor since 80% of razor's damage is actually physical and not electro so maybe Kaeya as his burst will float around you in melee range while you whack shit in razors burst auto applying super conduct as you attack naturally
