Game looks really cool but without a single player or individual server component like 7 days it's a deal-breaker for me. Call me antisocial or whatever but I like having absolute control over who I play with, only including my circle of friends etc. I have a long history of MMOs under my belt, but something about survival games makes me prefer single player.
As people suck I full understand where you are coming from.
@@afacelessname1378yep, that's part of it and the other part is I don't want to get involved in any kind of mass PVP or raiding or anything like that because I have physical issues that affect my reaction time Etc and I don't want to be the person on the team constantly bringing everybody else down. So even in regular MMOs I tend to just solo as much as I possibly can except when whatever Guild I'm in needs another body, beyond that for me it's just a chat room with benefits.
People make me prefer single player.
Exactly, leave the random players for online shooters... survival games only suit singleplayer and co-op with friends, IMO.
Yeah, I feel the same way about MMOs. They always seem to end up just being pay to win with micro transactions that leave solo players in the dust of the poor district.

Lots of unusual stuff in really nice cases. First weapons case opened looked like it would have had a really cool gun in it, but it was just a machete. Who would put a machete in a hardcore crate like that?

The game looks good. And will prob be even better with some greens ingested. But dang, this game is bonkers.
I'm interested in a survival game with actual story, because every other game is just survival, having a story gives me a REASON to play through the at-times tedious survival gameplay elements.

This game is awesome if you just spam space bar and get through all the cut scenes and dialog. It does seem pretty overwhelming at first for sure, but it doesn't take too long to get a hang of it. The boss fights are pretty fun.
the quests are trippy too. you seriously can't predict what you'll experience and encounter the entire time

I’ve been enjoying it so far. I wish there was like a single player or private severs tho to. Like the world is cool and all and I’d like to have like little outposts and all. Not being confined to one territory. Yes it’s movable but have to go around others to. Be nice to have different options to play as well.
Damn shame is not compatible with steam deck, one can only hope.

The game has a lot of highly derivative stuff in it, off the top of my head there's also death stranding, Control, SCP, siren head etc all lumped onto "generic survival game"
Disappointing tbh, I was reading about the game earlier, text only, and the discussion made it seem like a seriously hardcore gritty post apocalyptic biopunk war survival game where playtime is spent running and hiding from infighting AI -run military factions, scavenging from ruins etc like a far future This War of Mine (actually disregard all this, that game is "The Forever Winter")

I like the story driven type of survivals it gives you a reason to keep playing if it just throws you into a survival world with no direction it's very easy to quit the lore gives me drive, ya know

I see quite a few people hating on this game but I think it looks cool af. Good graphics and what looks to be a unique style of gameplay for a survival game. Not to mention it’s free to play!? Wtf. Hopefully it continues to be developed and maybe make its way to console because I used to play a lot of dayz but got got burnt out so this looks appealing to me.
