For some context of this version of Goofy. This version of Goofy is obsessed with Mickey and the reason is because after seeing Mickey make a new friend, who we can't clarify yet, this version of Goofy snapped and took out Donald's life to show Mickey that he is obsessed with him. I know this, due to a video I watched, explaining the lore behind it. Also this version of Goofy is terrifying as hell, like stay the hell away from me.
Man, this Mickey Mouse horror mod is actually good, the fact that friendly face Goofy is based on a RUclips short called Hollymurraymakeup, which is creepy lol, the lyrics here is fire and this might be one of my fav Mickey mods!
It's crazy how people are calling this mod an Aethos clone already when it doesn't even follow the same structure of Aethos mods 🌚 1: in most Aethos clones the opponent most of the time has half of the face darkened or damaged in some way, here Goofy just looks like a costume and later turns into a Wendigo 2: At some point of the song the head of the creator of said thing the mod is based off will appear in the sky 3: Most Aethos clones are one shots, in this one there are two songs 4: Most Aethos mods start off having barely detailed sprites and backgrounds, in this one it's all very detailed from the start 5: In all Aethos clones (that i know at least) only the opponent and the player character sing, in this one Donald also sings and even takes Goofy's place for a moment 6: All Aethos clones have been made by someone with a name meant to mock Jeffyfan (Maxprolover, Meatenyojer etc) While yes there's some similarities to Aethos overall the mod is cleary not meant to be another parody or clone of it

This mod is very good, the sprites, the sung lyrics, the scenery I was already really hoping that some Mickey horror mod would have lyrics, while the music, well: good I will say this is another one of my favorites
Omg I saw the of vid that friendly face is based off, its cool! Its a makeup artist who also used sfx prosthetics, its the removal process of all the makeup…hope this helps anyone who hadn't a clue about the origins
Wow a nice detailed i think i noticed is the fact in the lyrics if you listn really closely you can hear very in a low volume goofy's normal like he said it reinforce the way it was just an facade and now unmasked but goofy's normal voice is masked by the monster like one
It looks like this version of Mickey saved them from a car accident and continued to to want to be his friend by ‘fitting in’ but the continue of -life- happened and we know how that is to old friends
