Plaintiff should've never reached/leaned inside of the defendants car, that's the deadliest thing that a person can do. Both guys need to control their road rage.

This is a case of parents not teaching their children to take responsibility. This was not this young mans first offence. That says something. He obviously has anger issues and has not learned a thing.

I totally believe the defendant's story about the legal process, his lawyer leaving midway through, getting a public defender who was overworked. All of it. Totally believe him. But... I also believe he did it in the first place lol. His parents need to talk to him about how dangerous his actions were.

I will say this if you hit someone (pedestrian) and it their fault call the police ASAP. It looks much better 4 U. I did once hit a girl running on a green light at an intersection. She bounced off the car got up and kept running on the sidewalk against flow of traffic. I called police 2.5 hrs later. They asked why so much later. I stated in rush hour to pick up kids not going to call and drive and not going to be late when the girl seemed fine. Never heard from police again and they said my story sounded more credible than a report from a bystander reporting a hit and run.

He needs to learn how to take accountability for his actions even at the end of the case he still couldn't take responsibility and tried to continue to assume they were drunk or on something. He should have been put behind bars because this didn't have to escalate the way it did.

Mom and dad need to get tired of bailing son out of situations since he is old enough to care for himself and needs to get a day job at McDonald's flipping burgers and cleaning the bathrooms.
