Kamala crushed it. I feel an immense sense of admiration for and gratitude to Adam Kinzinger. I hope he is the future of a resuscitated Republican party.
Well Kinzinger brought up Reagan so he still doesn't understand when Republicans became so diabolical.
Wow, VP Kamala was incredible, just amazing.

My 18 year old son who really supports Gaza and knows a lot about politics was skeptical at the beginning of the Israel portion but by the end of it he was happy with her response.

Please don’t compare Kamala to Biden. He is a great president and he did a remarkable thing passing the torch to his VP. He knows her, he trusts her and she’s getting the job done. One of the reasons this transition was so good is we love Biden for what he did and we don’t want his sacrifice to be in vain. We KNEW Kamala would rock it.

Her channeling being presidential prefigured/foreshadowed her future occupancy of the office of commander-in-chief. Joy, hope, optimism, and rationality has returned to take central stage on the American political landscape. What a relief and a source of happiness!

The Democratic Candidate Exceeded my expectations.
I knew she was a strong leader (Very Smart), but she actually talked about couple of pertinent issues I didn't think about, and I agree with her overall vision for America and the World.
She is 1000% right about the World.
The World needs American Leadership and this doesn't mean we have to pay as Trump thinks. It simply means we lead the way and the World follows us. Each pays his own bills how ever we have couple of obligations towards certain nations that they themselves pay the cost for.
We actually win in these international relations, provided the US President isn't some idiot like Trump who only thinks about himself and lies to us.

Democrats have treated abortion rights as a minefield for decades, and I just watched with amazed admiration for that section of the speech, the writing and the performance, where Kamala Harris danced through without tripping a single trap wire or mine and came out skipping on the far end.

I loved the way Kamala showed how you can have 2 things at once. Like the way you can be Jamaican, Indian and American - you can support Israel as our ally AND have Palestinian autonomy and fairness and peace 🇺🇸💙 She’s ready for the moment. Did the election happen??? Did she win??? No,not yet.
Kamala did great & looked great - confident, authentic, powerful, focused, serious, energised, warm & inviting. She’s got the base, maybe won centrist Republicans over & will motivate new / younger voters. She did far better than Biden on the nuance of Gaza, supporting Israel but heart & care for Palestinian civilians. Her depth of feeling on this moved people.
The way Harris' speech was delivered, written, etc. -- it was a very well-crafted piece of oration. The people who collaborated on this were very talented. And VP Harris delivered it in a very effective way. She didn't do the pausing every time there were opportunities for applause -- she pushed right on through to give it a more natural, modern delivery and maintain the energy from beginning to end. Impressive. She came across as very much in command.
She is in command. I assure you there wasn’t a word in the speech that she doesn’t own.

Kamala’s sister was the biggest surprise speech for me. She had presence, emotion, and comedy all wrapped into a speech that made you feel like you got a look into who Kamala is
Great convention. Kamala looked the part of a leader which was as important as what she said. Trump's going to become even more unhinged knowing how well she did.

Right now, Trump & Co are too busy getting geared up to do what they always do when the felon isn't getting enough attention... they'll try to get ppl talking about them... like tomorrow they'll drop the whole "RFK, Jr., quits and supports DT"...as if the world will care. Kamala's speech was so much better than anything that Hillary Clinton ever delivered in her political career. I immediately felt attracted to the message that was delivered on stage. She plead her case for the job convincingly, without any gaffes and made us all listen up as she delivered her ideas of what her Presidency would look like. She pulled no punches and made her case clear. I was very impressed with her delivery and tenor. Best of luck to our candidate! BTW, USA chants stem from the Olympics years ago. Republicans stole that many years ago in a measure of desperation!
Harris was STELLAR. She was so convincingly saying her own words, expressing her own thoughts. She somehow delivered some pretty nuanced ideas in very direct, down-to-earth ways. I'm pumped! And thanks for the sneak peaks.

I think Kamala is one of the most misunderstood politicians. It comes as zero surprise to me that her speaking engagements are so successful so far. Like are we forgetting how powerful her presentation was during the pence debates (“I’m speaking”), and her grilling people in senate hearings. Obviously her 2020 primary campaign was a dud. But there’s a reason Biden chose her, and why he endorsed her instead of letting Pelosi, Jeffries and Schumer run an open primary (which seems to have been their preference). We have this Kamala because of Biden. And we should be thanking him not just for stepping down, but for setting her up so that the campaign hit the ground sprinting.

They did do a great job of producing this convention, overall ... down to the little details. The idea of the vertical signage held by the crowd was genius. Those verticals made the panoramas of the audience look like legions of Roman centurions ... Placards obscure one another in a crowd, but these amplified the appearance of numbers. Good production, good entertainment, solid show

I think the criticism of her not going out there and doing interviews is silly because she had so much to do because of the quick switch. She needed to ensure the base was there and then she will do interviews. Honestly though most people in my life don’t care about the interviews. Most people don’t take the interviewers seriously.
