Just want to respond to the "this discouraged me from playing/I quit guitar" comments. I know they're mostly joking, but Polyphia is much more approachable than people give them credit for. I've only been playing for 3 years, I went from simple chords -> simple riffs -> G.O.A.T. Yeah, it took me over a year to start sounding clean while playing, but since then I've learned a good handful of Polyphia riffs. After you grind and learn Polyphia, everything else becomes easy by comparison. Rather than discouraging me, it turbocharged my progress.

I was about to say this too! Bored of playing just chords and simple riffs, learning Polyphia songs at 50% was a great challenge and completely attainable. Learnt playing god at 50% speed, slowing increasing bpm each time its great fun :))

Should've kept watching the unplugged version, that one is INSANE.

I bought this guitar and I don’t regret it. It’s such a fun guitar to pick up and just play unplugged. Has really good action for a nylon string guitar
Any time someone starts down the Polyphia rabbit hole I always recommend they go and listen to G.O.A.T. Not necessarily “where it all began” but its an awesome display of the whole band. Everyone (especially the drummer and bassist) has a chance to shine and its just so fun to hear!

polyphia isn't for everyone and some people won't like it, but I love what they are doing. The musicianship is awesome and they are so tight. everyone in the band kicks ass. When I was 20 and played my guitars 5 hours a day, I couldn't do 1/4 of what Tim and Scott do. Makes me smile to hear them explore and do interesting new things.
Playing God=playing like gods These guys are so good! Who needs lyrics when you can get lost in those notes alone.
BTW buy the damn guitar it's an artful masterpiece that is meant to be appreciated even if it's on the wall.
Also suggesting Miyavi, please. He's legendary.
