What do you want to see in the next Premiere Pro Update? 👇
I need ps5 bro or ps4 its 200$
I hate this, many switching to davanci im the only one fighting for survival here
I want more transitions 🥹
Putting back older features they removed or changed.. I am getting tired of doing extra steps for similiar things.
I litterly frozen my updates since I still use Legacy Titles... while "integrated graphics" has like 2-3 pluses.
It removed so much things and was like a mini photoshop for graphics design.
Anyhow... while some of the new updates are AMAZING and with some of my clientel saying: "We are fine with losing some quality"
It kinda makes me wanna try out other apps insted. I mean.. if I am going to lose quality and styles, might as well check the others no?
But I am still going to stick to adobe's CC due to some of my styles going completely lost if I do make the swap.
But seriously adobe... just make intergrated graphics like Legacy Titles functionality and editing. I do not want to keep adding 5 effects to only get 80% of something I could do in 1 window within 1 minute.
Background rendering, add trim path animation for shapes
The text edit is great, but Resolve will have that eventually now that they have transcriptions. I switched to Resolve. I only watch your videos because you're pretty dang good at what you do. Hope you switch one day or do both and have a channel on Resolve.
They had that Resolve Basics channel joke on April 1st, and for 3 seconds I was super excited 😂
18.5 that just came out has it lol
Already has it.
@@swagmag856 It'll be nice when they separate speakers and have timestamps, though.
@@nickhemphill Hi. I dumped Adobe after paying thousands in subscriptions. Resolve works without all the bugs and high cost. I already own CS6 perpetual, that cost me $1190 I believe. The business model of Blackmagic suits me. I saved enough to buy a ton of Blackmagic’s hardware. Not to mention that renders in Resolve fly past Premiere’s.
I think it's safe to say that I don't see myself ever fully switching from premiere to any other software like it I think it's pretty clear how accessible adobe assets are on the web.. plus the having the ability to work across different adobe programs is just so much better for me when working on more advanced projects.
I'm an aspiring pro editor and cinematographer and I think that there's so much value here and I'm about ten twenty videos away from finishing downloading all and every video on this channel 😂 and after that me and premiere are bound together for life.. 😊❤
Thanks as always.. real helpful video 👍
I’d say you should definitely look into DaVinci Resolve. Especially if you say you’re an aspiring cinematographer. You’ll find the color grading far more powerful and better in Resolve. There’s a reason it’s industry standard and used on a lot of major movies and shows.
But beyond that the best switch I ever made was to editing in Resolve. And, I switched early. To the degree that Premiere was still better for editing, and Resolve was just adding those features. I made the switch to cut out the XML process of going from Premiere to Resolve for color, and then exporting the graded clips and an XML to go back to Premiere. Once I cut out Premiere I saved a ton of time. Then in only a few years DaVinci Resolve caught up and exceeded Premiere in editorial. That solidified my choice.
Plus in Resolve you have Fusion built in for VFX and graphics, Fairlight for audio, and like I said the Color page for industry leading color grading. Once you start seeing the power of grading in Resolve it’s tough to consider Premiere professional for color work.
@@TimButt2 Thanks alot for replying to my comment... I appreciate the effort.. 🙂🙏🙏
They are trying to go Davinci mode I think. They will eventually separate audio panel, color grading, cuts or edit and etc.
The best way to work in premiere is creating proxy. I have been a film editor since the past 10 years and I switched from fcp 7 to premiere pro. When I am working on a series that is shot on an arri alex or a red the best way to go about it is to create proxy files with the same source name... use your proxy to finish your edit (which we call offline edit)... once the edit is locked then we send out AAF to the sound engineer and the xml or edl to the colorist who links the proxy back to arri or red raw grades it. I hardly face any crashes on premiere while working on proxies... its once in a while...
And second workflow to have a Premier Pro clean without a lot of crash and bugs, don't put everything in only one HDD/SSD, rushs on one disk, project on another one, cache in a dedicated disk. Everything will work a lot better specialy with big project and/or big files.
I’ve made proxies for my video and it’s still plays back horribly, what do I do?
3 adverts in a 5 mins video is too much guys.
just because creators add ads doesn't mean youtube will play it. are you on vpn or incognito mode? youtube will not show you ads back to back especially midroll ads in 5 minutes videos
I have an I9 Alienware pc running a GeForce 4090.
The newest update crashes more often than 50 cars in a crash up derby.
I had to go back to 23.1 just to be able to edit more than 2 minutes of footage with a single multicam.
Which drivers are you running? Get the latest studio drivers, not the game ready ones. Reply back. I hope I can help you.
@@missioncreekstyle3814 good morning, I tried both studio drivers and game ready. The oddest thing is the game ready drivers at least as of a week ago were more stable than the studio drivers. With Game Ready I coukd muster about 10 minutes before I had to shut down the program and relaunch but the studio drivers were almost unusable.
If it helps Alienware M18 core I9 13900 64 gigs of ram (I know not great but should be good enough) GeForce 4090 1 TB ssd.
Also not sure if it matters but I encode onto a portable SSD. It's a Samsung 2gb transfer rated so should be fine.
@@OffTheShelfGameReviews Thanks for the feedback. I did see one other user struggling with the same issue. It's a new GPU, isn't it? Let me bring that feedback to the team. I hope they can either fix it or work with NVIDIA on that one. Let me see what I can find out.
@@missioncreekstyle3814 I appreciate it. If it helps I post my edited videos on my RUclips channel. Nothing too graphically intense. Green screen, Canon Camcorder recording 1080 30 fps. Samsung note 22 running droidcam directly into a pc running OBS. With B roll from an s23 ultra as a 3rd lair on the timeline some color grading on top..
Can you Edit on one Project with two users at once with this new "Production" Option?
Yeah when pp changed the UI in 2022 I almost gave up day one cause of it. And then the export nonsense was annoying. I use to just export simple from pp, but now it feel like I have to use media encoder
Look like Davinci Resolve feature.
What is your opinion of Motion Array?
My goal is to become a RUclips editor and make money. Motion Array offers so many ways to save time with great effects.
Is it worth it? What is your opinion? Or has anyone had experience with it
I love this GUY!
Owning Premiere makes no sense now compared to Resolve
@PremiereBasics please add Polish translation
thank you very much
like button for who is swapping to Davinci
Just like a toxic wife... Just leave the b***. Ain't worth it.
first comment please pin
As a long time premiere user my headaches seemed eternal. Resolve has made editing fun again. Not perfect but Premiere has literally made me cry because of crashes after hours and days work. Not likely to go back.
Davinci is not perfect but they are paving the way to it. tbh it's the best editing software for me...
There’s a reason I switched to DaVinci Resolve, and this video just reinforced that I’m never going back to Premiere. All their updates a not sufficient.
In Resolve I also get text-based editing, and it seems like the implementation is better. I get far more options for color, and in terms of color management it’s far better. Lumentri stick for color, while Resolve has been industry standard for the longest time.
Yeah, no point going back to Premiere. DaVinci Resolve is the future. And, I don’t pay that dumb Adobe tax anymore of being in a subscription model. Pay once and free updates for life. Resolve is superior.
But why Adobe not working on Transitions, they are super old now.. and I hate third party packs..
was just thinking this
I will give the team that feedback. Thanks.
I had the same problem honestly the best way for transitions imo is by adding an adjustment layer then get creative with the effects layer them and change key frames also just go on RUclips find a transition you like and change it around
I just went to the NAB convention in Las Vegas and spoke with people that develop Premier and was able to point a lot of issues with Premier. They really listened and seemed to care. They say as far as performance people seem to forget cleaning media caches is very important. They said they will look into small bugs that masking causes etc so they seemed to be on top of things and investing A LOT in AI for Premier.
Black Magic DaVinci team was in this convention too and man they are catching up to Premier REALLY FAST. DaVinci is really really killing it as far as updates and features too.
When’s the next convention 👀
I wished Premier would address the color space exporting issue. I export from Premier, and it looks washed out compared to the video on my timeline. I know you can add the LUT on export, however that's a not a fix, that's a band-aid.
@@johnstewart3391 Honestly. I was surprised that when i addressed all this issues they seemed like they had no idea. I was like "HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?" I think i switching to DaVinci. and only use premier for captions and certain things only
@@jjmedia5632 It's a yearly convention in Las Vegas. Make plans for next year now as the years seem to fly by lately. You can also catch the smaller, but still killer contention in Amsterdam in the Fall called IBC. There will also be community meetups with the team this year. They had one in NYC a couple of weeks ago. Next week is Seattle and San Francisco. Where do you live? I'll see if there's a meetup coming up in your area.
🤣🤣 No problem for me
Because I am using 2019 version cc that works properly in my computer.
I started learning/using Davinci Resolve 18 about 2 months ago ... BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. I am so happy that there is finally a real alternative now, and frankly, a way to stick it to Adobe. Because finally, they're not the only show in town anymore. ....finally.
I must say m’y be the only one to not have this issue but Adobe has not crashed for me since I 1st started using it and that’s well over 5years now…
Since premiere 2023 I have insane problems in Premiere such as having to do a factory reset every time I open premiere, otherwise my keyboard would not work. Uninstalled premiere, deleted all my plugins, installed premiere again, still same problem.
Switched to DaVinci 2 months ago and ever since I love editing again.
I also had the same problem, the fix was to check the anti-virus software, it blocked premiere pro's documents folder. What you need to do is remove it from the block list of anti-virus software on windows
When apps like Cap cut, Vita and more are super easy to work with. They should fux more filter, effects and lot more. Before 100% in premiere now 90% in the phone and rest premiere. And they cost so much more new times
Personally, I feel like other editing software companies are paying Creator's to go against Adobe Premiere fully because, yeah Adobe Premiere has it's down sides 100% But with the way I have be seeing different contents from Top Creator's on this kind off "Premiere pro is bad" or "I'm going to Switch to Davin ci resolve" etc Contents is becoming somehow, and it's kinda pushing let's "END ADOBE PREMIERE PRO" type of agenda.
speaking as somebody that's continuing to use Premiere as my daily driver along with the rest of Adobe's ecosystem with no signs of stopping in the near future - I think the fact that Davinci Resolve's base software is free with a one-time payment on the ultra professional stuff kind of pays for itself without the need for some kind of dirty back end deal like what you're describing
and I doubt some of said creators/filmmakers would take up Adobe's offer to fly out to their headquarters to say their piece on Premiere's problems if they were just being shoveled money by a competitor to spout doom and gloom
Honestly I’ve been using Adobe software for years inc Avid Media Composer and all software crashes from time to time but the amount of people saying it happens all the time are full of BS and jumping on the Davinci Resolve bandwagon. I’ve used DR and it is so laggy with even a basic 3D text and my computer is set up to edit 8K footage. All I can say is Adobe and Avid are the industry standard and the only thing DR is being used for is the colour page. Don’t be fooled by flashy new items cause it won’t last.
I do not believe anyone is taking any money to promote DaVinci. Davinci just works. I use most of the Adobe tools but fed up with Premiere the most. The bugs are getting ridiculous with each update.
They should focus on stability and stop the additional features (maybe push that to Adobe rush).
davinci is better i said it
Davinci Resolve
yes, its better
I still don't get it in 2023 why Premiere Pro uses only 1 core to perform live preview instead of using multi-core while nowadays all of us have 8/12 cores.. Or atleast load each layer on different core.
Next update for me
DaVinci resolve
Goodbye premier it's been fun
I would like them to improve lumetri (ACES treatment, more efficient and precise tools...). Really thinking about switching...
I just want more easier FX with updates and stability.
Overall Premiere is still wonderful!
That is true, Carl!! :)
Premier is terrible , getting worse every year, I do full time video for 5 years and the best thing I did was switch to DaVinci
Adobe premiere 2023 will always shut down few minutes after launching it on my Zbook G3 15. Pls help me
I came here after Davinci 18.5 to see if Adobe up's it's game...... its still crashing???. LOL Davinci crashing like 1 to 2 times a month with no DATA LOSS. I never have lost progression on Davinci. Whatever cool feature Premiere Pro has to offer, not one is gonna beat the stable one of davinci... I lost days of progression (in total).
I'm Kevin and I work at Adobe. I was demo'ing After Effects in the booth. It was an awesome experience showing editors how to use AE to save time and have fun with mograph. The new Properties panel is dope!
I noticed that the text based editing pod to my left was jam packed most of the time and everyone has their heads nodding in approval. My colleagues were thorough in showing all its advantages on how to save you time and get your edits to the finishing stage faster. Feel free to ask me any AE or Premiere Pro questions and I can try and answer those for you. Cheers to this community. It's a great one. 😀
Make PR Pro stable and get ride of the fluffy amateur nonsense that no one wants, K? Thanks.
Why Adobe so suck at Premiere?
Does Adobe know about piracy? If yes then why don't they take steps?
@@CyberHorizonYT I guess it’s better for them in a way. If people use premieres pro by pirating , and they start earning money from the content they create , the first thing they will do when they have the money is buy premiere pro. Just like what Microsoft does with windows.
Can you tell anything about when these features will come out of beta ? Like when will text based editing come to the stable version of premiere pro ? And will it support more languages ?
I dunno why people keep complaining that their Adobe Premiere keeps crashing because mine don't crash. Yeah, performance-wise, DaVinci was a lot better in every aspect i love what PR could offer for now and, DaVinci (free version) isn't as flexible as Premiere when we're talking about changing windows size inside the program. Not everyone have thousands dollar monitor, bruh.
I am a Life long Adobe user... and sadly to say, i dont like the subsciption based programs and rather just buy Resolve.. Yes, I made the transition 😢
Lately, lots of youtubers have been switching to Resolve, I wonder if this channel eventually will follow the trend and become Resolve Basics? lol
I just change to Davinci and really happy. Unsubscribe PR because too lagging, oh btw I use M1 Pro Max 👍🏻
That new export and import screen is trash adobe really knows how to piss us off on a monthly bases for only $60.
Hi I need some help my laptop is using integrate GPU but can't using playback engine GPU Acceleration
I use premiere since 2020 and never hzd these problem..working flawlessly on my 2 computers
Adobe CHEATING behind your back once again. Go file for a divorce. . . 😂😂😂
I think it's actually getting better
Mocking premiere pro like a pro🤣terapy for premiere is that one software we love so much but we can be mad about out, but yet we love that anyway
Wtf is this clickbait!? I was waiting all the way till the end to see if something was wrong or broken.
Premiere responds to criticism by flat out ignoring it and adding more BS nobody asked for
How bout you give it a try on DaVinci Resolve? Maybe it's about time.
When you said transitions I was thinking about cool trending transition and not the 90’s transition
Hey I switched to Resolve and recommend to anyone who is frustrated with Premiere it was the best decision for my video editing
I still using 2017 version😆😁
I don’t have the issue no more thank god
waiting for u on the davinci side of life bro
Lol. Premieres crushing it…
FWIW - I just updated to v23.4 and it crashes on launch. So went back to v23.3 and so far that version is working. At least Adobe makes it fairly easy to go back to the previous version.
Thanks to this update, no transition I have downloaded works anymore, I can't figure out why.
Has anyone had issues with their Audio not sounding right when importing to premiere pro I noticed this when I updated the software ?
Just switch to Davinci Resolve...18.5 is epic! (and doesn't crash like Premiere Pro does)
Please make video on 2024
I really want to love text-based editing, and it worked fine for English, but my accent in Norwegian is not working as the program has problems with all the accents in Norway. That makes it useless for client work I do locally. Hope they can make it work somehow for a more advanced language. Great for English tho :-)
Started to edit a video 2 weeks ago but I’m afraid to continue.. Premiere crashes too much. Even when I switch between workspaces it lags so much, that’s amazing.. They keep working on things people didn’t ask for and I’m tired of this. It looks like they don’t care about the community, they just want money.
After having used Davinci Resolve and FCXP...Premiere Pro looks like ancient software made for Windows XP. Still great software, just behind the rest in many aspects now
Chenal ka monetaij kar dijiye sir
20 or 21 or 22 ?
U R hilarious! 😊
Wowee! I did not know about that text based editing. I may have to try it to see if it works for me.
I hate the automatic tone mapping, this is too bullshit and gimmicky
i got baited.
Hi, Your videos are really great.
From where do you get fonts Bro ? Please advice 😄😄😄
Still no support for mkv smh
How can I download Adobe premiere Pro on MacBook Pro
Great info..
But at the last portion did you forget to remove the green screen?😅 Sorry if I misunderstood 😂
So Brother What Do You suggest stick with 2022 version or update
👍
:o

I think you are rather been fooled into thinking Premiere pro is better. For your info, the best it's used mostly is for cutting unlike Avid. I have been using premiere for ages now and the bugs keep getting worst with constant use, no matter what you do.
Just as I am typing this, my specs is way about the requirements and it's bugs me more than anything.
Been using DaVinci for top paying project but I know am done with premiere and making the full switch this week.
Am working on a client multi-cam project and even with playback set to 1/4 (cause it was worse with full playback), it's hardly using any resources at all and it's been hanging up on me so much I had to restart the edits all over in Davinci.
The fact that it works for u does not mean all the pros out there complaining are full of sh*t. Look at the mass exodus (all the well know youtubers and pros) ....if that does not ring a bell for you then I don't what else will.
So you are jump ship now??😂👀
I love the new export, what I despise is the first new project step
Please I need a tutorial on using Motion Bro on Pr. Thanks
I definitely still miss the old export panel ;(
@premier
True
So happy a main stream media person agrees with this usually they just say everything is dandy when it is terrible
wow stay creative always..
First
Please make more tutorial videos. You are awesome. Thank you.
Every Wednesday! :)
no way bro build a whole moon set to not keyframe it
😂😂😂😂
Thank you for the video. It would appear Premiere has jumped the shark. Davinci Resolve, is looking better, and better everyday, and it's free.
😁
love your videos
Thank you man!
Please make a channel about davinci resolve
This is very informative. I always take time before upgrading my premier pro. I see no need to do so this year.
