I am Bengali but living in Jharkhand. Nearly all my friends are Bihari. I knows what Chathh is. All the family members of them gathered together to celebrate this. I too enjoyed with them. From kaddu bhat, kharna to ghat visit everything is just mesmerizing. I knows the pain when any family doesn't come. Truly Chathh is not just a festival buy an emotion for every Bihari. Truly a Mahaparv😊

I am from Odisha, was fortunate to live in Patna in 90s, right by the banks of River Ganga. Used to love the festivities and fervor of Chhatt puja everywhere! I remember the crowd of ppl atop Gol Ghar and Ganga ghat on last day. And those melodious chatt puja songs even now! Thank you TVF for refreshing my childhood memories!

when i was a kid, i waited for chhat puja very eagerly as it was the time all the cousins met and had a night stay... our nani does this puja every year and we used to go to her place... we cleaned the whole terrace, made triangular paper flag and decorated the terrace... helped our mothers in cooking and above all enjoyed more than ever... but then every one went on with there lives... some of us either went to foreign nation for studies and others got busy with jobs and competition. Our nani shifted to Bangalore with mama. when i came to delhi I was shocked that its such a big festival and literally nobody knows about it here...

when i was a kid, i waited for chhat puja very eagerly as it was the time all the cousins met and had a night stay... our nani does this puja every year and we used to go to her place... we cleaned the whole terrace, made triangular paper flag and decorated the terrace... helped our mothers in cooking and above all enjoyed more than ever... but then every one went on with there lives... some of us either went to foreign nation for studies and others got busy with jobs and competition. Our nani shifted to Bangalore with mama.
when i came to delhi I was shocked that its such a big festival and literally nobody knows about it here...
