I am writing this comment to your latest video hoping it might catch your attention most likely. I have started studying design patterns in java and tried your video playlist which you made years ago (~6-7 years) and I would like to kindly ask if you can add to playlist major design patterns (or if you can, all 23 design patterns) in Java. I am willing to buy your Udemy course if you make it as well.
I know there are lots of great resources to try but I would like to see your approach and way of explaining them (both theory + practical code example in java)

@@shortcutcoder6228 lld has design patterns and the course i mentioned covers all the patterns but if you prefer the way telusko teaches and you have time at hand then there is no harm in waiting for a paid course as well.

The model needs to fit in vram otherwise it will use cpu to run the model. Either you will need another gpu connected or something with more vram. This is why mac with pro/max/ultra chips and atleast 64gb ram will be better to generate usable amount of tokens at the same price. For smaller models below 24gb vram and that can sit on nvdia gpu it will be very fast but I would pick a mac studio any day as I can’t read at the speed they get generated anyways. As a thumb rule 1billion parameters with 32bit quantisation will need 4gb VRAM. If we use 4bit or 8bit then you will need less ram but the performance will also take a hit.

The problem where llm with bigger parameters is using more cpu power and less gpu power is not just limited to the deepseek. I tried running models with ollama and then with lm studio in both cases, this issue persisted, i think it has something to do with the vram imo, when the bigger models dont find enough vram they just fall back to the ram and cpu completely for the compute operation. I have no idea how to fix that. Cant find any resource either with the similar problem. In LM studio, you do have a option where before downloading the LLM it will show if the complete gpu offload is possible or not for that specific model. Please make a video if you do find a solution to this problem.
