Wye Adventure? A Source-to-Sea Journey along the River Wye.

In Summer 2021, I travelled from Source-to-Sea along the River Wye. I hiked until I reached the road, cycled until the water was deep enough, and then paddleboarded until I reached the sea.
I'd been travelling for six years when the pandemic struck. I suddenly realised my addiction to travel and adventure had come at the cost of friendships and community and financial security. The Wye showed me I could satisfy my passion for adventure and travel in my own country, without going far from home, without huge Farewells to friends and family. I discovered the power of a microadventure!
