I need a accent color to go with my lightning blue 18 ecoboost. I thought about lime green. But idk. My 2.3 emblems are black. But I don’t want black accents
Hey great video Tyler, you are making your Stang yours and its turning out man. Also great job on the brake upgrade , you are quite a DYI person. Let me know how you like the pads you installed , I went with Bosch pads. Take it easy.
Correct me if I am wrong, but when you go from 2 piston brakes to 4 or 6 piston brakes on all 4 wheels, in theory, your system would then require more brake fluid to operate all those extra pistons. Do you check the volume of fluid in your Master cylinder to see if holds enough fluid to operate all those extra pistons? Let me guess. You never thought about that!! So, do you think you might need a BIGGER master cylinder now? BETTER CHECK!
That’s a good point! But yes I did check when bleeding the brakes that the fluid was at the correct level in the reservoir. Plus it’s only the front calipers that were changed, and they come on the stock GT that has the same fluid reservoir size.
The swap looks pretty straightforward. Thank you for the video, I’ll need to do the same to my 2018 Ecoboost.
Yeah its not to bad!

Have you considered putting wheel spacers on? What are your thoughts on them?
This is a great video hopefully one day I come back to this video to do this to my mustang
Brakes look great - nice job!
Good job 👍 The GT calipers look great painted red, better than spending two grand on a Brembo upgrade eh?
Thanks! Yeah I think these are more than enough for me!
Good shit countdracula, good looking breaks.
CountDracula? Lol
@@daily_driven you look like count Dracula. Haha 😄
@@JuancoPRoFlow Hmm I think you might be on your own with that one but Thanks! 🧛♂️😙
Did you cut the heat shield for the calipers to fit.

Have you considered adding the performance pack gauges for the center dash?
Not really only because the accessport has all the gauges I would need and I usually have that hooked up
Thanks for making the vid. I was hesitant to upgrade the caliper thinking it might affect the ABS. Will that affect your ABS on the Mustang?
Did you have to get bigger wheels to fit these?
They also make an upgrade booster for better stopping performance;)

Hey Thanks man! I appreciate it. The pads are great! This is probably one of the best upgrades I’ve done to the car honestly
Please help! Do I need to buy new brake lines or I can use my old ( ecoboost ) ?
Hey! You will need GT brake lines as the bracket is slightly different. 👍
Did u use stock brake lines & stock shield ?
I used the stock heat shields but had to use the GT brake lines. PN is in the video if you need it 👍
Looks great 💪💪💪💪💪💪
Thanks man! Appreciate it!
they kind of look like brembos lol also that's crazy impressive how you do all your mods yourself
I agree I think they kinda do too! Well thanks! This was my first time doing this so I was crossing my fingers I got it right lol
Do remember the part number for those brake lines.
NVM I found it lmao

Four pistons calipers will fit a 2017 mustang V6
Do you ever regret not just getting a GT?
Not really honestly! I have enjoyed the Ecoboost platform! I am thinking however a 2024 GT would be a cool next project!
@@daily_driven dark horse looks 👌
