    Hi, thanks for your video. May I know these motor drivers are connecting to same power supply chassis? Or each motor driver is connecting separately to different power supply chassis?

    Could you please explain how to wire error in pin?
    On the close loop stepper I have two pins Alm + and Alm-.
    Thank you in advance

    Hi, thanks for the tutorials:) are you gonna keep making vids on the pokeys57cnc? Thinking about limit switch, pendant, lcd etc?

      @PatrickHoodDaniel  6 лет назад

      Yes, I have a lot of content I need to edit and put on this playlist. I have already covered the limit switches, e-stop, spindle control for forward and reverse, spindle speed control, external power and even laser on/off control. I will then start putting out Mach4 videos associated with the Pokeys57CNC.

      I need to get the pendant to test that out.

    I must be missing something, none of the motors can move from Mach3. With the DMM DYN2 servo tuning cable they all work, they just don't work with Mach3.

    • @PatrickHoodDaniel

      I may need a little more information to determine why. Do the DMM DYN2 Servos work using step and direction signals? Do you have an oscilloscope to peer into these signals to confirm they are working as expected? Did you try other types of motors/drivers to see if the board is outputting signals properly? How are you connecting the signals? Thanks and let me know.

      @@PatrickHoodDaniel I posted a response earlier but it doesn't seem to be here. I have all three axis moving now but so far have not found the correct settings to make it stop when the home/limit switch is hit. I can see them toggle in the PoKeys57CNC Pulse Engine screen when I activate the switch but I can't find a setting that allows the switch to stop the motor.

      @@PatrickHoodDaniel The home switch pins for Axis 1 ~ 3 on the PoKeys are 14, 16, and 18. Apparently Mach3 can't use these.
      ///////////////LIMIT & HOMING CHECK///////////////////////
      Input Pin not 10-13 or 15..
      Home Switch found enabled, and activated.
      A switch may be misset in its Active Low setting. No LED's on the
      Diags page under Inputs should be lit up unless a switch is pressed
      if one IS, then reverse the setting of the LowActive param for that
      Switch in the config/ports&Pins/Input Signals tab.

      @@montekay575 There isn't a setting to stop the motor. If you are wanting to set the limit for a particular axis,, you should be able to do that in the pulse engine configuration. Rather than using the diagnostic tab, use the config for the pulse engine and make sure everything is working there first.

      @@PatrickHoodDaniel I can toggle the Y Home/Ref by activating the switch in the Plugin Pulse Engine menu and see it change on the screen. It also changes in the Mach3 Diagnostic screen, M2Home under External. So it knows the switch is being made but based on the Config check, it doesn't like the fact I have it on a different pin than the 10 ~ 13 or 15. If it's talking about the Limit/Home connector on the PoKeys, it's pin 16.
      I'm wondering if I have to use Limit instead of Home and also use motor 2 through 4 instead of 1 through 3 so I can stay within the pins 10 ~ 13 and 15.
      Edit: Btw I'm using External in the PoKeys plugin for the switches. I tried choosing pin 16 and toggling a switch on pin 16 and there is no status change.

    Is it motor toning or tuning like a melody tune. I like your accent.
