If you set the start time to 7am and the "How Often" to 12 hours then yes the timer will come on at 7am and 7pm everyday. Make sure the "How Often" is set at 12 hours. Also check that the "Set Clock" has the current time.
If it's rained and you want to pause your watering. If I remember right you push the plus button while in the Auto position to set the rain delay interval.
I set the start time to 7am and the "How Often" to 12 hours; presuming that it will come on at 7 am and 7 pm (water twice a day). But by some reason, mine only comes on at the start time ( 7 am). I also check the RAIN delay to make sure it's at 0:00 but still doesn't work twice a day? Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Thanks for posting time video. I just bought a house and living in Texas I need to keep up with the foundation as well as the plants. I have soaker hoses around the house and plant, but how offten should I water them. I set The time for 4 days @ 30 mins. Does that sound about right?
I bought 4 of these. 4 Orbit 62061N Single Outlet Hose Watering Timers. ONE OF THEM will not turn on with new batteries. What can I do to help the time batteries make contact so it will work! The batteries have been checked and rechecked they are good and new.
Be aware that if these are to be stored in freezing temperatures/over winter, you must empty the internal solenoid water by removing timer from hoses and setting the timer to open the valve to allow you to blow by mouth, the residual water from the internal solenoid. It's surprising how much water you will blow out. Approx. 4-5 ml came out of mine. Enough to crack a plastic housing solenoid if frozen into a confined space.
eye have a 2 port timer. It does not seem to turn on the second poet. the first sttion turns on and off but the the second one is time for 20 min later and does not turn on. what is happening. thanks
Can I go away longer than one week and this will continue. Silly question maybe. I did ask at the hardware store but the guy wasn’t sure. Thanks. Mike. New Zealand.
To good to be true my orbit simple single timer just keep wateting switched in and out of manuel a dozen set it to off position it is still running chsnged the batteries no luck
i bought one of those --the instruction papers were for a different kind of timer -------that is just poor packaging ----the label and the product should be correct
Thank You I have this book bookmarked and I refer to it every year. Thank you for going slow and steady.
Thank you for this great video! I was gifted this timer by a friend and had no instructions.

What is the model number of your timer? It looks like the 62062N model has one timed outlet and one manual outlet.
Thanks for watching.
really good upload iScaper1. I broke that thumbs up on your video. Maintain up the exceptional work.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.

Hello, I bought one the same and it is set for every 12 hours but it waters only once a day, not twice!
I would leave the water on. Check that you don't have any small leaks where the timer connects to the faucet/tap.
Thanks for the video. Do you leave the main water valve on the whole time, while watering and not?

I would try different batteries, make sure they're installed correctly, and if that doesn't work I would return the timer.
Love orbit such great customer service
Greetings!
If you want to water every day, you choose every 1day or every 7 days???
Thank you!!
Every day, if you choose every 7 days it will water once a week.

Good info, thanks for posting.
These may be silly questions but... Can you use this manually only? Is there an adapter for other types of faucets?
Yes, this timer has a manual start feature. Most faucets are 3/4" hose thread but if you have something different you could buy a brass adapter.
Which connection is station 1, under the buttons or dial? Thanks for the video.
This timer is a one station timer.
Hello up to what pressure can take ? 4 bar ? Or more

Thanks Tina for watching.
Thanks.
Hello! this one is waterproof ?
Thanks!
Yes.
@@Iscaper Thanks
On the "Auto" section, what does "for rain delay press" mean?
I have the same model my problem is when it turns off it makes my pipes knock and I can hear the noise Inside the house any solutions
Sounds like high pressure. Do you have a pressure reducer where the water comes in the house?
No I don’t thanks for the tip I will pick one up
Can I go away longer than one week and this will continue. Silly question maybe. I did ask at the hardware store but the guy wasn’t sure.
Thanks.
Mike. New Zealand.
Yes. Once you set the How Often the timer will remember that interval and continue watering until you change it.
@@Iscaper thank you very much. Appreciated.
Cheers
Mike
Mine is brand new and it wont work. It doesnt goes off. Any ideas?
The only thing I can think of is to check if the batteries are installed correctly.
Seems like it has to be hours or days. You cant program hours and days? Example: every 2 days every 12 hours? If so how would you do that.
To good to be true my orbit simple single timer just keep wateting switched in and out of manuel a dozen set it to off position it is still running chsnged the batteries no luck
I still don’t get how it works...Does the water have to stay on in order for it to work? No one has made a full video of how it actually works.
Yes, the water needs to be on.
Thank you, I figured it out. I was asking about the water because it would leak when I turned it on...I bought washers and Teflon tape
Thanks!
i bought one of those --the instruction papers were for a different kind of timer -------that is just poor packaging ----the label and the product should be correct
You are suppose to use alkaline batteries..
I did use alkaline batteries.
question , can it open for say 2 min on and 3min off and again 2min on 3 min off, continuously, say from 10 to 4pm everyday?
Cant do that, only can set 1 event per hour. You can program it to water for 3 minutes every hour everyday
It’s not working :(
I did everything you said in the vid
Is the faucet on? Are the batteries installed correctly? If so you may have a bad timer.
LOL - Great he mentioned add batteries. Sad he never mentioned leave the WATER TURNED ON !
