Winkhaus thunderbolt lock. So the out of hours guys just put a cut out of a winkhaus in there? That's not actually a bad idea if you're going to find a replacement mech. Why didn't they want to follow up with the replacement?
I think it's incredible to do a good job using so few tools, eliminating unnecessary gadgets, but it's very doubtful to call a professional to do a job and have him show up with a screwdriver, a dozen screws and a box of bits in all kinds of pockets spread around his body, not that a tool case is mandatory, but it would be desperate to call a fireman and have him arrive on an old motorcycle with two ropes around his waist and a jug of water ! 😂

should have fitted it in a intumesent lock box the same as what came out it looks like a flat so single point entry
