Today I show you how to make a chaff cutter from an angle grinder. I used angle grinder to power this chaff cutter. This chaff cutter has a rotating blade. I used a hacksaw blade to make this chaff cutter blade. This chaff cutter blade is rotated by the angle grinder to cut the grass. I step down the angle grinder machine speed by using the sprockets and chain to multiply the torque for this diy chaff cutter machine. This diy chaff cutter cuts the grass very fastley. This mini chaff cutter machine is very compact in size so this chaff cutter machine can be very easily portable from one place to another place. This homemade chaff cutter is very simple and easy to make. This homemade chaff cutter machine really works good. I hope you will enjoy this angle grinder hack.

I had a lot of old pipes and rebar to cut up and from what I read ruclips.net/user/postUgkxPDBfLu68o58Aw85O_J-zIFfjJARBhp-3 this would be the tool for the job. Since I had never used one, I watched a couple of youtube videos and I'm so glad I did. Some really good safety tips, which I followed, and this tool did a splendid job. One good thing to know is the weight of the tool puts just about the right amount of pressure on the metal I was cutting, so I didn't have to use a lot of pressure, which is more likely to jam the tool. It made fast work of my job.

First than all, thank you very much! Very nice idea. I will try to make it but with some modifications: first, i will try to use a smaller knife and put the alimentation hole nearest the axis center. I believe, it will make the machine more efficient because will reach more angular velocity and torque. At last, I will try to fix the grinder with some kind of chain adjust.

Muy linda idea pero incompleta.. le falta la otra media luna para que el operario esté protegido de la cuchilla que da vueltas, y también la parte de abajo debería estar cerrada en los costados para que lo picado no salte para todos lados.. pero la idea en general es muy buena.. yo la voy a hacer porque me hace falta para picar verduras para mis gallinas.
