You can blow gently into the cup and some of the husks will fly out of the container, leaving the seeds behind.

Hello, new to this channel. You guys are great. Very thorough. What kind of crocosmia seeds are they? Once again love this video.

When should you plant the seeds? March the following year? How long til the seeds grow and produce flowers?

Thanks for the tutorial, I’m about to harvest seeds and cut mine down for the first time in the next few weeks. I was wondering about seed storage, you said keep them in a cool dry place, but what if you want to keep them for over a year, will they survive the following summer if it’s hot? Cause I don’t have air conditioning and my house gets in the 80s sometimes so I don’t want the seeds to go bad. I could keep them in a moisture sealed bag in the fridge, or is potential fridge moisture a bigger problem. Also, for storage, can the seeds survive in a plastic air sealed bag? Or do they prefer the paper ones that still breath a little.

Will the seeds grow if planted directly into the ground?

Hi. Great video So when do you sow the seeds and are you likely to have flowers from them that following year?

An allotment neighbour chopped down all of her Montbretia. But the seed pods are still "fresh". is there any way I can get the seeds from them anyway?
