Great job Will, love your can-do attitude. The new switches look the goods. The stickers were horrendous, glad you didn't go with them. Probably could lose the baked bean can and give the carpets a vacuum. I have asked you before, what's going on with the head liner/roof behind the driver's door? It looks loose and not fitting well. Is it something to do with when you repaired the elastic?
Thanks for watching mate. I think with the head liner there are more elastics that need replacing. I think i need to go a bit more in depth and take it apart to get to the other elastics. Definitly a job I'll look into
Definitely the second method is by far better but still, if you take the time to install the stickers properly, cleaning the switches before with isopropyl alcool to remove as much as possible texture of the previous finish then apply the stickers and using a credit card to “dig” the concave line on the button themselves, you will be surprised by the result.
good walkthrough with tips, thanks mate
Thanks for watching mate 😁
I did mine. It was such a satisfying job when it was finished.
Brilliant job...my 987 has same problem...better get it done now...thanks
Nice one Del. The job is actually a lot easier than I expected and cheap if you get the switches from Ali Express rather than Design 911.
Thanks Will 👍
