To be fair, I used to habitually wear them both indoors at *_my_* house, and those of my close neighbours, whom I visited practically every day. Was probably a young teenager before going to a flat with a "no shoes" rule - which yes - I didn't know about beforehand. Though whenever visiting ANY home now, will carry two pairs of slippers in the car - one for driving and one for going into another's home. Just a better (commonly forgotten) solution all round. Saves pain, saves wear on socks - saves embarrassment from torn clothing and excessive perspiration. Why not revisit the idea from hereon in? Just a one-off purchase ultimately.
