So if I want to run my residential fridge while driving, do I use the generator or should I turn on the inverter? Or is it a combo of both that need to happen? I will be traveling and want to make sure my fridge is on while driving long distances.

u make a great product, I'm not having any issues w the 'house' side but FORD sure can't help much when chassis problems appear within the FORD E-450! Even FORD dealer commercial service centers won't help me out w my motorhomes chassis issue???
If I had this fore knowledge that FORD doesn't & won't stand by there product, I would of NEVER got a motorhome with a FORD chassis attached, I woulda gone for a Chevy chassis motorhome for sure!!!
What are the three buttons or lights or labels on the left side of the Xantrax panel for? I'm referring to Utility, Battery and Fault. You didn't mention them. I have this same panel on my 2017 29FE and I'm not sure if I should be checking this readout daily or looking for something in particular. Also I'm pretty sure the display lights up and goes dark on its own, without me pressing the green button (power). Or is it haunted. ;-)
Is there a video explaining how to properly use The freedom X 2000 inverter system. I have a 2019 35.3 miramar. It is currently displaying an error 04. Thanks
Hi. We do not have a video on that specific unit. Error 04 is an Over-temperature shutdown. Glenn, it is entirely up to you. Personally when I am out I keep it on for a few reasons. If I'm out and the batteries get low the generator kicks on to charge up the batteries so the fridge keeps running, plus it will turn on the AC units. - Steve
Mary, do you mean just the camera or the entire unit? Do you want to power it off, darken the screen, switch between modes? If you provide a little more info I should be able to help. - Steve
I found this one. There's a little picture that looks like a monitor in the bottom left corner of the screen. Push it once, and the screen gets a little dimmer. Twice, dimmer still. Push until it goes black. When you do anything, like change the volume, the screen will light back up.

My steps won't go into the "camping mode" when I flip the switch. The still retract when the door is shut. Keys not in the ignition, tried everything I can think of to troubleshoot. Please help.

I used our VIN number and this is not what our model looks like inside. How do we find one for our specific year/model?

I had to replace the switch. It's a reverse polarity rocker switch, but I don't now what color wire connects on which blade. Anybody?
Just got a :ws31 2021. Should we enable auto gen start at all times or only when actually using the generator. Manual is a little short on this.
