OMG, I loved the Fishermans apartments. I would seriously consider renting an apartment for the full year. The cost of the 3 bedroom penthouse is about the same as what you would pay just for a bedroom in a shared house here in Australia. Why the heck would you struggle here in Australia when everything is there for you for what we would consider to be small change.
Same here! I just don't actually want to leave the uk permanently, otherwise I would be seriously tempted to sell up and move to Thailand, having a Thai wife makes it an easier proposition too! ❤
Welcome to rip off Britain. Council tax is nothing more than a revenue stream for local councils. What they do with the money I have no clue. In my area of the UK the potholes are damaging my car, the high street looks like a war zone and our local park is inhabited by drugged up drunken youths. I'm packing my bags, selling up and heading for Asia before I end up in a mental hospital for the insane.
We have a house near Khao Kalok Pranburi. At night in front of Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villa has walking street with tons of street food. The condo you were looking at, originally was suppose to be a part of a huge complex, including shopping and marina for yaht, boats, etc. I don't know what the plan is now but I don't see any construction there.
Thanks for another realexing yet informative video. I really appreciate the maps too. Makes it easier to cross-reference with other places. Love your chill channel!
What a gracious hostess you found to show you around. Loved that Fisherman House and a great value proposition for a long term place to go chill after corporate UK Thanks for the share
What is amazing is the lack of traffic. If you were in California, it would be bumper to bumper on a 2 lane road for miles pretty much everywhere along the coast, regardless of the day.
Love watching your travels... but in showing me all these spectacular and affordable gems, your making my decision process way too complex. 🤯 I plan to relocate and retire in Thailand and had thought of renting in the Wongamat or Bang Saray areas. @VegasNegus- Some people just want to get away from busy towns such as Hua Hin. Plus, the cost of living is much lower than in Hua Hin. The expat community has driven up the price in the town! Sorry, I go to Thailand to get away from other foreigners and live amongst the awesome Thai people.

Thank you once again for a great video, like other commenters on here, I could easily watch longer. I can’t wait to get back over there, only 2 more weeks ✈️ 😎
Long time no watch... and your vids are still greatly informative! This condo is amazing. The only drawback on this "riviera" is the sea, which does not have crystal clear waters, this north in the Gulf of Thailand!
I never considered to buy in Thailand, but at 4mil Baht for the 48sqmtr. , im guessing with management costs this condo could pay for itself with about 40 months of rent.......live part time here/ rent part time ? Really worth considering.
Right now at Fisherman House - 3 month stay: Studio 25 Sq.m - 14,250 baht / £320 Deluxe Studio 48 Sq.m - 21,750 baht / £490 Deluxe Suite 84 Sq.m - 38,250 baht / £860 Penthouse Suite 115 Sq.m - 45,750 baht / £1,030 The above prices are the total cost for the entire THREE months, not including utilities... Just sayin' I drove past yesterday 17 June 2023 - looked empty...
Thanks for the update. Odd, the price you're quoting of a 25 sqm was approx the price of the larger 48 sqm, as one can see @ 11:23 Regarding 'looked empty' not surprising there's few people in dog days of low season and in a reclusive place but just another plus (for me at least;) STL
Just to clarify, these prices are for the FULL THREE MONTH stay when paid upfront. To get the monthly cost therefore - divide the above by 3 🤓 So - you can rent the stunningly beautiful three bedroom penthouse for just under 15,000 baht / £338 a month!
I'm currently in Playa del Carmen. I've binged watch many of your videos. I don't recall you mentioning biting insects. Mosquitos especially. I enjoy your side trips. They're never long enough.
With sea breeze mossies not too bad on this stretch. Haven't experienced sand fleas here but best avoid high tide-line debris and damp shaded areas at top of beach as they love that. Btw, this area in SE Asia reminded me of Playa del Carmen 20 years ago: ruclips.net/video/-u2C0ZjfKOM/видео.html PS: great username :)
Love your videos! Always look forward to the next one. Wish she would have shown you a one bedroom condo. I noticed your audio inside the car is not as good. Would be nice if you could do something about the volume.
Wow wow and wow, you are the man bro, thank you ever so much amazing video. And the prices over there incredible. What a nice place to visit and possibly retire in some day.
Beautifull area, i live close to there thank god, but the beaches can get kinda muddy, so not great for swimming, and lots of marshlands on the other side of the road from the beach, so its mosquito and sandfly country at dusk, for real beach live and swimming Hua Hin is better, my opinion as a local. But lovely video, and condo👍

Studio 25 Sq.m - 14,250 baht / £320
Deluxe Studio 48 Sq.m - 21,750 baht / £490
Deluxe Suite 84 Sq.m - 38,250 baht / £860
Penthouse Suite 115 Sq.m - 45,750 baht / £1,030
The above prices are the total cost for the entire THREE months, not including utilities...
Just sayin'
I drove past yesterday 17 June 2023 - looked empty...
Thanks for the update. Odd, the price you're quoting of a 25 sqm was approx the price of the larger 48 sqm, as one can see @ 11:23
Regarding 'looked empty' not surprising there's few people in dog days of low season and in a reclusive place but just another plus (for me at least;) STL
Just to clarify, these prices are for the FULL THREE MONTH stay when paid upfront. To get the monthly cost therefore - divide the above by 3 🤓
So - you can rent the stunningly beautiful three bedroom penthouse for just under 15,000 baht / £338 a month!
Damn! Had I known that I would've taken it on the spot... Cheers, STL
Btw, this area in SE Asia reminded me of Playa del Carmen 20 years ago: ruclips.net/video/-u2C0ZjfKOM/видео.html
PS: great username :)
I would happily watch for an hour.
@@SideTripLife I got zapped by sand flies when I stayed at the Dolphin Bay Resort two years ago.
Thanks for the great video, haven't been to hua hin for about 5 years, but next time I will definitely be checking this bit of coastline out ❤
I spent a month in Prachuap City several years ago. Really nice beach town. I look forward to getting back there.
Literally had no idea southern thailand was this nice...thanks for the video! may add it to the bucket list
It's not southern. Only few hours from bangkok.
