u can get them at pretty much any online or offline dj store. even guitar center sometimes has them. they usually have voices, sound effects, and sometimes beats all on different sections of the record.
whats better? regular turntables or the mixers you can hook and ipod up to because was going to buy some equipment but i don't really know what to get. can someone help.
if u live near northwest indiana, there a great place in merrillville called rubinos, they sell fucking awesome turntables, guitars, drumsets basses pretty much anything music related. there way better then guitar center
the "oh no" sound effect is only on the full metal scratch it vinyl i think. the other is the "guitar" tone which is on that vinyl and also one of dj swamps vinyls.
yes i do. some songs like disasterpiece hav a beat juggle style thing to it which requires 2 copies. also when my 1st one wears out, i want 2 have another since they're hard enough to get.
do u mean the kaoss pad? its a touch-screen effect thing. im just using the pitch shifter in this song. i hav 2 full metals. the one on the right is not in use in this song. the record i'm scratching with is also a full metal lp. and yes i play the song through the ipod. i sometimes use a laptop to play music also.
wow i first saw your sulfur video i was like wow this dude gonna just like stand there and do a few scratches but this is ver very very impressive nice job keep it up
yeah that would take some thought. i have already made up a scratch for the part inbetween the verse and the chorus, but i hav 2 perfect it a little bit.
u just run the turntables into the kaoss pad then run the output of the kaoss pad into a 1/4" adapter which goes to the input of the whammy pedal. it then goes to my second mixer and then into speakers
whats the little deal in the center thats badass! so i see the full metal scratch it on the turntable not in use....whats n the other side ur scatching on antoher one?? is yer shit playing through an ipod right now?
there is no such thing as the cd version. but u can buy the vinyl and then convert it to a cd. if u want it bad, just buy a turntable for scratching- it will be well worth it.
sic shit...i cover a few slipknot songs on my decks and i kno how hard the scratching in this song is so props to u...i havent got it down yet...but i can nail people=shit, purity and pulse of the maggots, i havent really tried anything else yet...i use 2 kp2s and i have a limited edition glow in the dark copy of fmsi and a black copy. too bad that shits protected by copyright laws or id use some of the sounds with my band instead of just bedroom slipknot covers. keep it up, pce
Doesn't seem that hard. *one failed attempt later* damnit he's good
after 6 years no video ? where is he now ??

For some reason I think that you're Sid Wilson, because you're pretty damn good man
It is, there is some other video of sid scratching on this set in the same house
I mean, when did Sid got the tattoos on his fingers and hand?
@@boogie3718 true
This is not sid, sid would be dancing and doing other crazy stupid things
@@stevenhagstrom5726 its obviously not sid. how is sit gonna magically get rid of all his tattoos in 2008.
Best DJ cover
1DeathEater ikr
So thats what the "oh no" sample is used for
What record is that on the right TT ??? ive seen that somewhere before but i cant remember what it is ... thanks
which vinyl does the "Oh No!" come from? or is it from a movie?
Artist: Norman cook
Title: Track 59
Album: Skip to my loops
taken from a "Slipknot Samples" video
I love those badass SlipKnoT turntables! :D
Kelsterperson1 8 years ago my friend... how’s life now?

@@LILxPEEPUS a hell of a lot better than 2 years ago HAHA
thanks. i'll be getting more vids up during Christmas break.
u can get them at pretty much any online or offline dj store. even guitar center sometimes has them. they usually have voices, sound effects, and sometimes beats all on different sections of the record.
Come back mystical man and teach us your ways!!!!!
whats better? regular turntables or the mixers you can hook and ipod up to because was going to buy some equipment but i don't really know what to get. can someone help.
the vinyl discs that you buy seperately have the scratch samples. the background music is coming from an ipod input
if u live near northwest indiana, there a great place in merrillville called rubinos, they sell fucking awesome turntables, guitars, drumsets basses pretty much anything music related. there way better then guitar center
how the fuck do u do the magic finger thing i love it im desperate to pick up that trick
definately a possibility. theres just so many songs that i want to do so i'm trying to choose the best ones first.
i use vestax/ stanton turntables, gemini mixers, kaoss pad, and a digitech whammy.
i believe its effect 15- the pitch bender or whatever. also the sound effect is slowed to -50%
the "oh no" sound effect is only on the full metal scratch it vinyl i think. the other is the "guitar" tone which is on that vinyl and also one of dj swamps vinyls.
whats the name of the guitar tone on the vinyl pls
Awesome but still dont get why he isnt headbanging •.O
thanks man. its a vestax and a stanton turntables, a kp2 kaoss pad, 2 gemini mixers, and a digitech whammy 4.
i dont know whats better. if ur scratching go with the turntables but if ur mixing then the ipod one might not be bad
yes i do. some songs like disasterpiece hav a beat juggle style thing to it which requires 2 copies. also when my 1st one wears out, i want 2 have another since they're hard enough to get.
Where did you get the records at? could you send a link?
i think he uses the kaoss pad in this song. maybe not though
do u mean the kaoss pad? its a touch-screen effect thing. im just using the pitch shifter in this song. i hav 2 full metals. the one on the right is not in use in this song. the record i'm scratching with is also a full metal lp. and yes i play the song through the ipod. i sometimes use a laptop to play music also.
wow i first saw your sulfur video i was like wow this dude gonna just like stand there and do a few scratches but this is ver very very impressive nice job keep it up
its a koass pad. it doesnt usually make the sounds, it just alters them. its a touchscreen effect controller.
@FlareStorm10 its one of the 9 reasons slipknot is slipknot with out sid it wouldnt be slipknot
god damn man! this is simply perfect! amazing job! keep it up dude! :D
the sampler you use is a male voice saying oh noo?
Leo Gandini *sample
i dont do cocaine so headbanging would be out of the question hahaha.
not usually. it can break under heavy loads but its the record that gets worn out from the scratching. usually not the needle.
u can do it however u want. u just plug it in between the turntable and mixer or u can go from the mixer to the pedal to the second mixer like i do
hahah u look like sid for a moment
yeah that would take some thought. i have already made up a scratch for the part inbetween the verse and the chorus, but i hav 2 perfect it a little bit.
u just run the turntables into the kaoss pad then run the output of the kaoss pad into a 1/4" adapter which goes to the input of the whammy pedal. it then goes to my second mixer and then into speakers
youre actually a fuckin killer DJ. people dont give this shit credit. its HARD.
what is the little screen in the middle of your turntables, the one that you can make diffrent sounds with your fingers?
all together it was like $900 with mostly used equipment.
1:50 looks just like Sid
thanks. when i get some time i'd love to put up a bunch more vids.
ya its the same record that sid uses on stage.
Demaaaais!!! Congrats!!!!!!
awsome cover!!
you should make a tutorial on how to play slipknots songs in dj!!
does dead memories have any scratching? if not i'd hav 2 make somethin up which would be kinda cool.
FUCKINNN SIIIICCCCCC!!
man you are a great Dj great scratches great timing youre just a great dj
cssmre suena brigio hrmano buen trabajo
your great! how long did it take you to get this good?
its a guitar tone and pitch shifter chopped up with the crossfader
he means "sick". he just said it like sic. i think...
Man, your DJ covers are amazing, it is dead on, you got some real tallent. Keep it up man :D
DJ Starscream's "Full Metal Scratch-It"
audio which you use to make the effects of surfacing?
Full metal scratch it
man all of your videos are (sic) including this one ofcourse...keep it up and i look forward to see you posting more DJ covers!
thats the superseal record.
Pretty sweet, you even have Slipknot's nonogram's on the record's.
whats the little deal in the center thats badass! so i see the full metal scratch it on the turntable not in use....whats n the other side ur scatching on antoher one?? is yer shit playing through an ipod right now?
is it Vinyl?
im lookin for a copy.. but cant get a hold off one :(
where did you get those vinyls?
Great Video :) Where do you get the vinys from?
hey thanks man
where did you get the slipknot vinyls.awsome!
is there a possibility of you doing a wait and bleed? ive noticed a little DJing in there...
thanks man
yes he did! its the full metal scratch-it.
What scratch combos are you doing
thanks. surfacing took me a little longer to learn cause it was pretty tough to learn the scratches correctly.
dude this is fuckng awsome, u did it so perfect.....please never take this video off
i wouldnt quit guitar. just maybe do this on the side or somethin.
how much did ur gear cost all together?
Great job man!
What fx number are you using on the Kaoss Pad?
have u got the cd versions??
plz reply :)
wow that sounds cool but im not anywhere near there though.
(SIC) job man, Its perfect as always.
ya learning how to scratch is hard but once u know how its not too hard to pick up on this stuff
yea i've nailed that one pretty good i think so i'll post it soon.
thanks man. i hav a spit out cover ive been meaning 2 put up.
Awwww he never put it up :(((
i use #14 i think. it's the pitch shifter.
whats vinyl is on the Stanton
just the superseal record.
i got mine from ebay.
Dude , very nice cover man!!! Respect!!!
5 stars
there is no such thing as the cd version. but u can buy the vinyl and then convert it to a cd. if u want it bad, just buy a turntable for scratching- it will be well worth it.
that would be awesome if i could be their DJ but I definately wouldn't want anything to happen to Sid though!
oh that sounds cool. maybe i should look into that.
good work dude
looks tricky
where'd you get your vinyls?
hell ya dude!
thanks. it took me about a year and a half to get where i am now
what is that thing in the middle that let you do the scratching sound from the intro
Jeffery Delgado kaoss pad
awesome :)
thats the "korg KP2 kaoss pad". its an effect controller.
it sucks that its copyrighted, but a lot of the sounds on that record are on a million other records too.
u can use any but the scratch records are thicker and last longer.
ya i was thinkin about it but theyre a bit pricey though.
so how is he doing the intro at the beginning?
haha! i dont have a sid gas mask but i usually enjoy a good session of headbanging.
sic shit...i cover a few slipknot songs on my decks and i kno how hard the scratching in this song is so props to u...i havent got it down yet...but i can nail people=shit, purity and pulse of the maggots, i havent really tried anything else yet...i use 2 kp2s and i have a limited edition glow in the dark copy of fmsi and a black copy. too bad that shits protected by copyright laws or id use some of the sounds with my band instead of just bedroom slipknot covers. keep it up, pce
