Such a damn good interview. Caleb’s thoughts on the relationship between his physical & mental health and his passion for music is spot on. Relate to this a lot. It definitely shows on stage & I’m stoked for the next record.

Caleb you’re the Best man. Watching this you definitely helped Me realize things. The past 2 years I’ve gone through alot of Change
Physically and Mentally. Almost 2 years ago I quitted smoking for all the same reasons you looked at Alcohol, like how does this benefit Me and does it add more to my life in a Positive way? Then i saw how i used to say to myself that i was able to quit at any moment i could - and even when people would ask Me if i was able to i’d say it’d be no problem and then i realized… oh Fuck, i’m not able to put it down as easy as i thought because I relied on it way too much lol. Although with you, Alcohol you didn’t excessively have alot of but you saw that it was something you always seeked to have and it didn’t bring any sort of positivity to yourself. So i quit all together and I couldn’t be Happier. I dont miss the Heartburn i would always get, the need to rely on something, or how shitty my breathing used to be. Also Congratulations on cutting out Alcohol man. Luckily for Me i can drink socially from time to time to a comfort and i dont let myself get out of control. From experience Alcohol put Me in my place enough times to realize that i can just have a few drinks to have a Good time. Not 10+ lol, At most 2-3 and that’s it. But I learned to respect alcohol and have it a very minimal rate or not even have it at all sometimes. Which is nice at the end of the day to know i have self control with it. I have also been slacking with working out BIG time and you brought it to light for Me that when i was working out normally i was at my Best form of self and that also your Mental state is at such a better spot. Overall, you just feel Great. I got to get back on a regimen with Working out normally again and not fall off. You’re a Legend and never stop doing what you do Brother. Your the Best at what you do, you and Beartooth have helped Me for years and i cant live without your music. Again Congratulations on bettering yourself and keep kicking ass like you always do!!! Thank you for the helpful clarity 🤘🏼💜 #CalebShomo #Beartooth

Awesome to see others getting on the right way and put their lives back on track... Now I guess it's time for ME to do the same thing. Been battling mental health issues from before the pandemic started, quarantine made it all even worse. I was suffering from purgative anorexia, could barely walk a few steps without feeling dizzy, like if I was about to pass out. And with that, an avalanche of several other illnesses: a bulimic period of time, anxiety and depression. I got to the point where I would even cut myself. Also, having Asperger's syndrome doesn't help at all in that sense. Again, glad to see this guy's been able to put his things together!! Mental health can fuck you up soooo much, man!! 😔
