Never in my life did I ever imagine Cruger meeting Rita Repulsa. I was obsessed with Shadow Ranger back when SPD was on TV in 2005. I was 13, and I still remember imagining fighting alongside Cruger. God, how the years have gone by. BTW, they should've used Cruger's original voice actor. He sounds nothing like I remember.
Nothing like a good story line with new and old power rangers. It would be great to hear the other Rangers real voice in this, but it never gets old hearing Tommy as a ranger

For the record...I have a feeling they are BUILDING up to this in the PR series. In Ninja Steel we saw the "Dimensions in Danger" episode which was a highly watered down version of Shattered Grid...but now Beast Morphers features USING the Morphing Grid for clean energy on a scale that has never been attempted! There have GOT to be serious ramifications for this...and I for one think we're going to see at (at least for a little while) a return to interconnected seasons.

In the comic Drakkon has 3 evolutions. In the first one he takes the Samurai powers, the one we see in the game is the second one where he takes the Zeo powers. In the third he takes the power of various morphers, unfortunately this final form does not appear in the game.

This will always be the best Power Rangers video game ever, a magnificent crossover of fan favourites and a celebration of all things Power Rangers. I powered through story mode in one night to see it all unfold as a tribute to the late great Jason David Frank, our beloved Green Ranger. May the power protect us all.
What an EPIC story! Though it might not have did the game any justice, it's still a great story. Sidenote: was that the original Tommy's voice from the original TV show series?? Sure sounded like it to me. ✌🏾

In the 90s, Power Rangers comics were done by Marvel, so they could've had the Avengers team up with the Rangers then. In the updated comics, the Power Rangers team up with the Justice League.
Jason's motivational speech to the group of Rangers was great....but just imagine how epic it would've sounded if Austin St John had been his voice actor in the game.
At the end when tommy said it was good seeing you when Jason said you too tommy you too hit the heart it felt like they as in the voice actors ASJ and JDF settled there. Problems and brought back the feeling of the original team
I'm still slightly disappointed they didn't include one more element to the "main guest stars" aside Jen and Lauren. TJ would make the dynamics feel different, since his team was the first all new ranger team.
If someone can make a successful sequel series for Karate Kid, there is no reason they couldn't just take this story and give us a live action version on any streaming service, dammit. I'm sure Jason David Frank would be thrilled to reprise his role.

Look at the pros, the gameplay at least has dynamic narrative integration like Tekken 7, and unlike MK11. This made it a lot more engaging to play than say the arcade mode.

I looked this up after seeing the video of JDF recording his lines with Kyle Higgins but the voice acting actually doesn't sound that great, maybe it's just that it sounds like JDF is trying his hardest but everyone else is just lacking.

This was awesome. But I have questions. 1) Was that ASJ and JDF voicing the red and green/Drakkon? 2) Was this the beast morphers thing Jason is returning on or was this something else? Hoot crap this was so awesome. I loved this.
Well he betrayed her in so far as he KILLED her...but it was more like once he got two sets of powers (green and while) he saw that Rita's goals were not big enough. Drakkon couldn't be happy with JUST the world, or even the universe...no he had to gain all the powers he could and conquor every dimension in creation!
... Okay so asking the one foe ( gg zordon) for help turned out to be a good thing but in the end .... Drakon couldn't even save his own life cause he wanted power ... And it cost him...
That, and he couldn't deal with the fact that he was the ONLY Tommy that went wrong. Every other version of him were good people. He was the odd man out.
Brad Hawkins does gold ranger in game, Dan southworth does quantum ranger David j feilding was the original zordon, which he is here...Kyle Higgins, the writer did a Mastodon sentry...lotta ppl came back, and the list of more rangers is coming.
I want to ask, is getting the game worth getting? In terms of gameplay, I mean. Or should I just get the comics instead? Because I am tempted, but with most things, I do want opinions from people who have play the game.
Imo it's worth it, they added new characters with the two season pass. Its easy to play, story mode has been expanded with some various tweaks in the game.

If the topic is about the franchise mythos, then the Dino Megazord was designed by Zordon after prehistoric beasts (obviously the Mastodon and Sabertooth Tiger aren't dinosaurs, neither is the Pteradactyl if you wanna get technical).
I like that they showed ranger slayer actually slay some rangers but I feel they left things out (spoilers from the comic) . . . . . . . • evo 1 drakkon and his encounter with other ranger teams • drakkon killing zeo tommy and dino thunder Tommy • jen and kim picking up other rangers • the reality that drakkon created with the heart of the master • the world of the coinless and zacks death I dont know if the game is canon to the comic (which it can't be), then i understand why they didn't show much of the stuff from the comics
@@geoxev9423 by the point of drakkon killing the other Tommys, he had already absorbed another team's powers (the ninja steel Rangers), in addition to having learned space magic from his Rita. He snuck up on those other Tommys and killed them away from their teams, and while they were unmorphed
the main reason for that was that the ranger she was based on had a rule to never use her morpher except for one day every 10 years. So she didn't have alot of footage. I do wish they revealed that morpher had a bit more juice for the final battle though sense it was a temporary device but she clearly didn't use the whole time up in the ep she used it.

For a former stuntman whose main acting roles have been on children's programming, JDF is a surprisingly powerful actor.
Jason's speech has to my favourite scene in both the comic and this game.

black dragon is a remodeled Dragon Zord that can grew and shrink.

Well he betrayed her in so far as he KILLED her...but it was more like once he got two sets of powers (green and while) he saw that Rita's goals were not big enough. Drakkon couldn't be happy with JUST the world, or even the universe...no he had to gain all the powers he could and conquor every dimension in creation!

... Okay so asking the one foe ( gg zordon) for help turned out to be a good thing but in the end .... Drakon couldn't even save his own life cause he wanted power ... And it cost him...
That, and he couldn't deal with the fact that he was the ONLY Tommy that went wrong. Every other version of him were good people. He was the odd man out.

I want to ask, is getting the game worth getting? In terms of gameplay, I mean. Or should I just get the comics instead? Because I am tempted, but with most things, I do want opinions from people who have play the game.
Imo it's worth it, they added new characters with the two season pass. Its easy to play, story mode has been expanded with some various tweaks in the game.

@@Dairobo10 your statement is only correct if the subject is source material of the show. This game (as well as the comics) is an entirely different canon. If the topic is about the franchise mythos, then the Dino Megazord was designed by Zordon after prehistoric beasts (obviously the Mastodon and Sabertooth Tiger aren't dinosaurs, neither is the Pteradactyl if you wanna get technical).

@@geoxev9423 by the point of drakkon killing the other Tommys, he had already absorbed another team's powers (the ninja steel Rangers), in addition to having learned space magic from his Rita. He snuck up on those other Tommys and killed them away from their teams, and while they were unmorphed

Kat Manx is my favorrite ranger ever, im so glad she gets the justice she deserves since she was ranger for only one battle in SPD
the main reason for that was that the ranger she was based on had a rule to never use her morpher except for one day every 10 years. So she didn't have alot of footage. I do wish they revealed that morpher had a bit more juice for the final battle though sense it was a temporary device but she clearly didn't use the whole time up in the ep she used it.
The truth is Saban is much of a cheapskate to just record new battle scenes. They just want to mooch off the footage from the sentai series

Ok, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get some hate here, but... is there ANYTHING Jason Davif Frank won't do that envolves him as a Power Ranger.
Like at this point I feel like there may be a need for an intervention....😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣. Don't get me wrong, an appearance here or and a story there, bur this guy has not dropped an invitation to play a Power Ranger, inside the franchize or out....

Matter of fact, the Phantom Ranger from Turbo, Zhane from In Space, Koda from Dino Charge, Zack (or Adam) from Mighty Morphin', Wes from Time Force, and who knows who else cameoed in this game aren't playable, but can be seen in the Story Mode?
