@mihaitavraciu2248 Not really. I mean we all end up as a meat slurry eventually anyway, even with traditional burials it's a huge problem. And gravestones deteriorate in less than 100 years and end up being completely ruined and forgotten...its a sad sight. Trees can live for thousands of years and are far more durable than a gravestone. If you prefer traditional burials, cool. But don't put down alternative methods to grieve the dead.
All of us return to the Earth when we die, but it is kind of neat for your loved ones to know that THIS tree in particular ABSOLUTELY contains elements that were once a part of you. It’s no longer just an abstract; that tree in particular is recycling you.
For those who dont know, he means that when you die, people will put you into a capsule underground and have a tree growing around you, therefore after a while you can become and actual chair
It would be neat if loved ones could eat the fruit and get a memory from the deceased. But if someone that's not related eats it, its just normal fruit. Edit: Apparently people don't understand the words "it would be neat".
I feel like i should mention that trees roots don't only go straight down, alot of trees can branch out horizontally several times larger than the trees canopy, and those roots connect with nearby trees to communicate and share nutrients. If you have a cemetary full of these your tree would be connected with the other trees around, and they would all continue sharing and nourishing eachother throughout their lives.
@@novavoltaris2198 it definitely has the potential to take up more space but you could still pack them as densely as you would a traditional cemetery as long as you plant sections of trees while they're still young. Then the roots would be able to naturally grow around the other roots. You would probably have to plant most of them in close succession so you can fill the area before the the trees have time to root. Trees will naturally root vertically if there is obstructions that prevent the root from growing horizontally. If you did small sections that way with open walkways between each section I'm sure it could be made an efficient alternative. Also take into consideration that each casket takes anywhere from 6-10 feet of space due to the people being laid down, in this method the person would be in the fetal position only taking up a couple feet. There's a chance this might even be capable of being more efficient with space than a traditional cemetery.

I kind of want the old Zack D Films when he used to say “Have you ever wondered” 😢😢
Genuinely this is one of the things i want to give back to the earth when, it just seems so comforting helping nature out even in death
Muslim buried the dead body 7 feet under with just a piece of cloth covering the body.
In India it would be called as "HAUNTED TREE" 👻☠
AS AN INDIAN, SORRY FOR OUR EXPIRED CURRY SCENTED BO 😭 WE ARE WORKING HARD TO SHOWER EVERYDAY AND USE DEODORANT ❤️❤️❤❤❤❤❤
DUDE STOP MAKING FUN OF INDIANS! 🤦🏾I know most of us are brown, uneducated, and our girls💓🇮🇳💅🏾 also is hairy and strong smelling.. But we are 4th largest economy❤️ dont hate please❤❤❤❤❤
@@CurryScentedRedDotsIndians what a determination to hate a country, in front of whom your country isn't even equal to an ant.
Good luck 😂😂😂
What an amazing idea! 💡 😊
I’m seriously considering this and have been for years. Great way to live on and see the world evolve.
Imagine eating an apple from that tree:-
"Aunt, did you know this was uncle ben…?"
Aunt :- "I always knew he was delicious 😋"
Fun fact: Vietnam under French colonial rule used Vietnamese people as fertilizer for plants 😂😂
Holy ship
That’s just cruel but umm… at least it’s good for the people? Like, not the french, I mean the majority of people because they can eat food without any worry.
French...
As a vietnamese person, i dont find this remotely funny.
Thats not funny 😐😐😐
'yo thats a nice tree'
"oh nah thats uncle joe" 💀
Great idea , i think every human should follow this as many of them not plant tree but atleast our body will help one tree to grow .saving our future generations ...
“ooh that’s a big tree let’s chop that one down”
this gave me an idea of a myth where, if you cut down the wrong tree, you get haunted by the ghost of the tree. thanks!
@ np
Bro is giving life after death ☠️
Because death isn’t real. It is merely the shutting down of the body and giving it back to Nature.
I wish this was more popular than traditional burials tbh
Nope. Traditional burials are better because they respect the dead and their bodies.
Nothing about
"When you die, your BøÐy" voice crack?
Bruh that shit was done in one take 😅
All of us return to the Earth when we die, but it is kind of neat for your loved ones to know that THIS tree in particular ABSOLUTELY contains elements that were once a part of you.
It’s no longer just an abstract; that tree in particular is recycling you.
no we dont lol?
@ Oh? So what happens to _your_ body after death? Does it go to Narnia?
Our Souls may continue on (I believe they do) but your _body_ will decay.
@@LowerBudgetOppenheimerYou got any proof? Let people believe what they want to

Okay now when I die, I wanna be buried above my favorite tree.
The concept of an entire forest being filled with these kinds of trees is honestly terrifying.
so true idk why all these comments are so positive, reminds me of those siuside forests
I think it's natural at the end every living being ends being food for another living being, it's natural because for life we need death
“When you die ” what a terrible way to start a conversation 😂
What are you talking about? That's the best conversation starter I have ever heard
Now i know about how aot works and i gotta say Eren has heck of nutrients
This couldve been an analog horror idea where this process has hidden side effects where the tree gradually resembles a humanoid tree and becomes one
NO?
... We ain't in no simulation that we control what happens
That's not how any of that works...
@@ap4lofficialye god control everything
God doesn't control shit m8. God doesn't exist, only science
🤓👆
Oh my, it reminds me of the Avatar's world (the blue people one, not ATLA)
Which means space would run out quicker because those roots are fking everywhere
Aw
Bro’s literally pushing up daisies 💀
When I die, this is what I want my grave to be looking like, this is amazing.
At my school there’s this girl who died four years ago and I think this happened to her, her grave is at my school and she had a bunch of rocks that had paint on them and lots of flowers, and there’s this big tree. I’m glad she didn’t have to be under a rock with her name on it.❤
Humans has double life, by turning themselves into a tree
Huh?💀
😂
WE INDIANS SHOULD CONSIDER USING DEODORANT AND STOP BEING STUBBORN🙏🏾💚🧡 many people were complaning about us polluting the air with sweats from armpits, sorry guys❤❤❤❤

Your already dead plus you'd be giving life to something even after your death it's a win for both the tree gets better nutrition from your body and the tree becomes a sort of living memorial to remember you by
