Captures where I grew up beautifully, Song and video. My fav. Dandy's song thank you. A film called Funny Bones captures earlier weird Blackpool also. Again stunning song and video.
I'm a huge fan of you guys from Australia I love your band so much I've been listaning to you guys since I was 13 years old! and this song got to be my favorite song ever its such a greate song!
It occurred to me today that there is a female version of this type of story. "Innocent Erendira", by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. There was a film adaptation of the short story that is very well executed. The cinematography is beautiful. It examines the problem of domestic abuse and one solution. The question remains: What are we running away to?
Blackpool, the cold sad side of England: a tower, a wheel, some mermaid-shaped illuminations on the promenade. And a city center full of shops permanently closed in a post-apocalyptic scenario. It was so back in 2013, I hope that in the meantime the city has improved a little.
I remember going to Blackpool in the winter of 2003/04... it was freezing and I thought my toes were going to fall off. Nothing was open and it was pretty bleak! I imagine it comes to life in summer.
@@jessewallace12able the novel's Bradbury's best, and 'deepest': I learned very much from it as a kid, and it stands up now (an understatement) rereading it as an adult. It's no surprise then that it inspired the song. You should read it sometime.
I don't know why, but someone somewhere is working on a song and they just can't seem to get past the following lyrics, "Ooops, baby. Oooops, baby. Oooops, baby. Slippery baby." Other person, "Either finish that song or work on something else, please!"

best song on the album.
Хорошая работа, к песне отлично подходит. Режиссер молодец
yesss ellieeeeee
so atypical for the dandy warhols, but i like it!
It's about the book Something Wicked This Way Comes. The fog in the house of mirrors, the carousel turning back making people younger, all references.
Its about something deeper than that
That's a helpful comment

How can I nominate those two girls outside the arcade for an Oscar, Bravo what a performance.
It took me forever to figure out what the lyrics were about. When it hit me I was like, "Dude, why didn't I realize that before?"
