As a leader, you can have the most brilliant ideas and you can get buy-in from the team like that. However with Rassie it's clearly more than that; he's got the backing of the team and you can see that they all listen to him and would do whatever he asks without skipping a beat. I know being a Springbok is motivation enough for them to do this, however there's something special in the way Rassie commanded the respect of this team. And it seems he did it quite early into his coaching stint, because the team became what he wanted pretty quickly. It's not like they started winning and then the team started to believe in his mantra and coaching, it seems to have happened pretty early on. This is what I'd like to know one day

wow. 3 years later and I can actually spot those players that believe they are intitled, in this Wc. Sadly, some of them are among my favourites and I believe that's why we lost to Ireland, in the pool stages. i won't mention these players, but i hope they pull them self-straight.
