Mild hybrid term is a marketing gimmick, India does not have regulations for how these technologies should be named, mild hybrid is misleading for what Maruti is offering, the actual hybrid by Toyota should be called mild hybrid, strong hybrid will have better battery capacity, charging speed from engine, and longer range, anything more advanced with the bigger battery is called plug in hybrid.
strong and mild hybrids both are marketing gimmicks. hybrid can't be the future. they don't match the power of electric in same pricing range. The only issues with electric are charging time and charging infrastructure and that too in case of long drives.
Mahindra aur Tata ne saaf mana kiya hai ki vo Plug in hybrid pe invest nahi karenge.. ya to gadi ice pe chalegi ya puri ki puri electric... ek tarike se ye chz mereliye personally bauhat zyada disappointing hai
