Shakes & Fidget - End of Dungeonpause on w50 - from lvl 514 to lvl 554

- On W50 i play an mage.
With around level 370 i started my Dungeonpause there. While in Dungeonpause i still did some more Light World Dungeons and some more stages of the Continous Loop of Idols for some more %'s in the scrapbook. So it was not an hard full stop. But i did not do Twister and Shadow World Dungeons anymore.
I ended my Dungeonpause a bit late here on w50 than it is usually done, but i wanted to be at least lvl 550 after doing all the possible dungeons after ending my Dungeonpause. And of course i wanted to do it when an Legendary Dungeon is open to equip me fully with new good stuff ;)
After the finish of my Dungeonpause i now have the highest level, at least for now. From now on i will only play for gold. Let the time tell how good or how bat this long Dungeonpause is in the log run.
It took me quite some time to edit the video, have fun with watching it :)
All this was done at the 17.12.2023 on w50.

Would you say the decreased stats that come along with this strategy are significant? Since the gold really starts to ramp up per level after 510-520 people who have been at 540-ish for a couple of months playing for gold could have a significant advantage there but im not sure about that.

I really admire your patience, going over 100+ levels without doing dungeons is really impressive!
Are any of your other Guild Members doing this strat? How long do you think it will take you to reach No1 in the Hall of Fame since you're going to be getting much more gold that everyone else?
Most of the guild members allready finished their dungeonpause. I was quite late here to end mine, but i wanted to be at least level 550 when i finished it and of course it should happen on LD for new equipment. It will take quite some time to overtake the playaers that have higher stats than mine. I'm sure i will over take quite a few. But not sure if i can get them all. For example Nastu might not be possible to overtake for me. My level advantage isn't that great over him and he has quite very many more stats than me - since he finished his dungeonpause quite some time ago. And level 632 isn't that far away, so i might not close the gap skillwise in that timeframe. But we will se in the future.

You can get a bunch for free if you are an official sponsored content creator - but you are not allowed to show your shrooms than.
Why is dungeon stop good? I thought dungeons give you a fixed amount of xp and gold
I'll copy you here the an explanation form the Sf Tavern discord regarding, it explains the hole thing petter than i could with my own words:
The xp from quests, daily missions, academy etc. decrease after level 393, while the xp in the dungeons are fixed. So after level 393 dungeon xp become more and more valuable. To get the most out of the "good xp" zone around level 393, there is a strategy called Dungeonpause (Dp). There is no absolute proof that a Dp is worth it, but many examples on live servers suggest that it is beneficial; also, most level 500 records are broken with this strategy.
How it works
The Dp strategy is to not clear dungeons during certain level ranges, usually starting at 360-390 and ending at 450-480. During this time, go for xp in quests as you still get good xp rewards.
When the break is over, you push as many dungeons as you can. In the example of a 370 to 470 pause, you can push about 30 levels, which will get you to level ~500. At that point, stop playing for xp and switch to gold.
Benefits
Compared to players who keep advancing dungeons, you will gain levels, around 5-10, and lose stats because you've been playing at a lower level. The idea is that you catch up this stat deficit afterwards because you can play for gold at a higher level.
Another advantage is that you save a lot of shrooms during the break, since you don't have to upgrade your char and equipment, and later you can beat many dungeons for free. This makes this strategy even better for low spending players. It also works for f2p players.

I did save the thirst in the time machine to do even more quest at an lower level. This might not really be that worth it, since it is just a little bit of time save. When it's allmost you click on it, so you dont loose anything.
And i wanted to have an allmost full time machine at the day i ended my Dungeonpause, so that i could get an bunch of XP out of it at that time.

hey i am pretty new, and i wanted to ask you, why you left so much in tornado, and why you are saving time machine?

how long did your dungeonstop last from 370 to 514 2 years+-?
A little bit over 2 years. I did my last shadow world dungeon around in November 2021. While in DP i still did some more light world dungeon and loop stages for scrapbook-%'s though

Do you think 7200 mushrooms is enough to end an avarage dgstop if I want a legendary set aswell?
depends if you want to get an full set with an good enough wespon and for what % dungeons you go for.
But if you are moderate and dont do the dungeons with the tiniest chances. And RNG does not hate you while doing LD.
And depends if you want to skip all new leg. Gems at the end.
With skipping gems at the end i dont think so but without sure why not.
@@JurikJoriksson well I plan to push dungeons above 2%, and won't skip gems. I play as a scout and I plan to end my dp around lvl 480-490 (depending on others).Just wanna make sure I don't get in a situation where I won't be able to finish what I started and If I need more It's good to know ahead.
