  • In this video I am making sure the page elements match the artwork and characters within the book. It is important to stay cohesive and keep the characters looking and feeling like it is the same character as the reader moves through the book. This is why you might hear often that being the " Author and Illustrator" is not as common as one would think. As an Author Illustrator you are responsible for a strong story, one that will keep the reader's attention. And you are responsible for the artwork that flows and remains consistent to the end of the story.
I use procreate and my iPad to complete each page
the brushes I use come with the application, the #6 pencil, and the quoll brush.
The music is as always from Mixkit Bigger-Than-Texas-1053 (free)
I hope you share your thoughts and questions below. I am happy to answer them. The whole purpose of making these videos is to find my tribe. People who are like minded and enjoy watching and engaging in discussions of books, art, illustration, both digital and traditional drawing and more.
I look forward to your thoughts.
