    I've been wanting to get back to Anza Borrego and do another trail called Lower Coyote Canyon. That trail has been on my list of trail to see in Anza Borrego for awhile now. Our initial plan was to do that trail and explore that area and camp for the night but things didn't work out the way I had planned.
    Follow along as I venture out and explore a few area in Anza Borrego as things didn't work out the way I wanted to.

    I know you were coming from the wrong side, but try Arroyo Tapiado trail, especially for camping spots, 32°54'55.0"N 116°14'26.5"W

      Yea that trail is really fun...I wanted to go to the lower coyote canyon first that why I was on the other side of the park but I've done arroyo tapiado a few times now. The mud caves are really fun to explore there.

    Do you have a video on tire inflators and deflators?

      @Michael_Tran  4 месяца назад +2

      I only use a cheap deflator from auto zone...nothing fancy but my tire inflator is from amazon as well.

    Saturday March 2 we took the Tacoma down to wind caves along Fish Creek wash. Parked at Fish Creek campground to make camp, 65 mph gusts nearly blew us away as we tried to set up. Made the decision to pack up and leave. Whenever a storm system rolls through San Diego, the wind out there is no joke!

      @Michael_Tran  4 месяца назад +1

      Oh yea...I think I made the right decision...around 8pm on my way home gust were around 30-40mph...it was insane. I was going so slow cause there was so much dust on the freeway.

    there area you went to is ok to go by yourself in terms of not getting stuck? It doesn't look like you went out with anyone this time

    • @Michael_Tran
      @Michael_Tran  4 месяца назад +1

      There are a few sandy spots but generally it's pretty easy...however this trail is really popular and there are a lot of people out here. I would still bring some recovery gears like a shovel and traction boards. Those will get you out of sticky situation

    • @ericschmidt1987
      @ericschmidt1987 4 месяца назад

      Got it thanks for the advice. Have a shovel and a recovery rope you recommended before. Still need a traction board. Do you carry two traction boards or just one? I have a 2 door jeep so my cargo capacity is limited.

    • @Michael_Tran
      @Michael_Tran  4 месяца назад

      traction boards usually comes in 2...you can get some cheap ones. I've run with amazon ones for years before getting some maxtrax. @@ericschmidt1987
