What two handed sword is that?
is the imbued zamorak cape worth wearing since it only gives +5 mage bonus compared to regular zamorak cape and comes at a cost of trouver parchment + 500k?
It really depends on what other gear you're wearing and what build you're using. Usually, having the highest magic bonus possible is almost always worth it because of how important it is to not splash when you need a freeze on someone. If you're pking on an account that can use mystic/bloodbark or better and you want to keep your risk as low as possible then it's not THAT important. But if you're already risking a few mil in other items then the additional 1.2m or so for the parchment+500k is worth it for the +5 mage and +2% mage str bonus. Its especially useful on a 1 def pure because of the extremely limited options for maximizing mage bonus.
When I'm pking on my main, I usually risk about 7m-12m depending on what I feel like bringing so in that situation it's worth it because it's not adding much more to the total lost if you die. I don't bring any parched items when I first log in for the day and need a quick warm-up fight or 2. The set I used to learn how to pk is the same as my warm-up set and all together I will only risk about 700k-800k wearing bloodbark top/bottom, nezzy, spirit shield, ancient staff, b gloves, glory, climbing boots, MA1 cape, black d hides, rune crossbow, dragonstone bolts, and my spec weapon.
In this set up, it's not really worth bringing the MA2 cape because the parch and gp is worth more than the rest of my gear combined.
Test out some set ups and see what the bonuses add up to by mixing up gear and try to find what is working best for you. Sometimes, you can swap some gear around and get the same mage attack bonus as you could with a different set that includes MA2 cape. This way, you can maximize your accuracy and reduce your risk.
