Actually, you confirmed the results of the other guy. With simple jogging he got a correlation of R=0.99, or there abouts. So, the watch is EXTREMELY accurate when it works. However, as you also confirm the problems start when the watch isnt tight, ie cycling, weight lifting, etc.
Why am I watching this? I want to buy an accurate watch or a fitness band that is light. Lightness is my priority. After finding out that band 8 is one of the best in the class, I decided to wait for band 9. Now Im not sure if I want to get it anymore. Im tempted to get the new Huawei watch fit 3, but someone did a heart rate test on it and it might have the same problems as band 9. It is very accurate when it is accurate, but sometimes the reading goes off. More tests with watch fit 3 are needed.

no one can actually claim how accurate these smart watches or bands are as their result may vary from one user to another. Always take it with a grain of salt, don't obsess with other people's own experience or numbers, just use it as a "reference" for your purchase decision. If you're that obsessed with "very accurate" reading, why buy smartband or smartwatches? just go buy more professional device like polar heart rate monitor lol.

@@jct0010 If you do not monitor your health and you do not need an accurate, buy a simple watch without health monitoring, ordinary cheap hands are enough for you, lol

What do you think, it could get better with updates? This has always been the case.

@@justcan528 The previous model is supposed to be more accurate. This one is using a different sensor, so maybe they can still tweak it.

@@loganmedia1142 My friend, it is still not available for sale in my country. So, give it some time and after detecting all the problems, the updates will come one after the other. Having health monitoring worse than Band 8 seems unrealistic to me. Because it is better in terms of hardware.

Can you connect a Polar H10 HR sensor to it? I can do it on the GT 4, but I want to use something smaller for working out.

Try to wear it without connecting it to your phone while running. You'll lose 1km during 5km run and it doubles as you run further. I've lost 2.6km during my 14km run 😂
