The real story of "Le Yare" "Le Yare" is a sad Kurdish song dedicated to the girls of the Bachwanlu tribe of Quchan, Iran, which dates back to the morning of Ramadan 13, 1905, and expresses the heart of a young shepherd of that tribe named Bahman and his lover gulnar. A tribe of turkman racists attacked the tents of the Bachuanlu, killed all the men, burned their tents and took 63 women and girls captive, and forced them to marry Turkish boys, and others were sold in the cities around, When Bahman heard that his village has been attacked and his lover was with the turks, he went back and saw that there was nothing left but the ashes of the burnt tents, he ran after turks Pedestrian, but he was tired of hunger and thirst, with no escape of his sadness He sat down on a rock and took out his flute with his trembling lips he sang "lê yarê" for his loneliness.
the translation of the song le yare : my lover gulnare (my gulnar) : name of his lover havale : my friend todeay I am really sad le yare, le yare , gulnare, I'm looking everywhere , le yare, havale , I don't see a sign from you, gulnare I don't see a sign from you, gulnare The pain of my heart is very hard le yare sadness ate my soul, le yare havale i may never see you again le yare gulnare, They killed the men and took the women le yare gulnare, they took my lover, le yare gulnare, They sold them on the streets le yare, today I am really sad le yare, I'm looking everywhere , le yare but I don't see a sign from you, gulnare I don't see a sign from you, gulnare

When I found out about the song, I cried so much 😢 Every time I hear a song I remember how Kolnar lost From time immemorial, it was written that we, the Kurds, must suffer We suffer in , even in love They stole our land , they stole our history, they stole our culture They prevent us from speaking our language and also even in love they fought us as in the story of the song
Never heard this song without crying my eyes out. Even now, i am crying like a baby Our “brothers in islam” have always been our biggest curse. Maybe, just maybe, in afterlife. God will reward us for what we have and still go through.

Love from Afghanistan
“Lê Yarê” is a sad love song from the Khorasan region. As far as is known, this song tells about a love lived in 1905; The love of Behmen and Gulnar… On November 11, 1905, 36 Kurdish girls from the Baçiyanlu tribe were captured in the Turkmen district of Cenge Şirvan. According to rumors, all Kurdish men in the district are killed by the Turkmen.
Later, some of the girls captured are released, but those who remain become wives of Turkmen men. They have to choose to live like a slave, away from their home and family. The song named “Lê Yarê” sung in Kurmanji dialect consists of a story about the love of one of those captive girls.
The poem read by the man in the song belongs to the man who was also Kurmanj and was captured and killed in the war. The young girl is sold to another master at the city market in Bukhara. Behmen Şivani, the shepherd, learns that Gulnar was taken prisoner two days later and returns to his village. But he can't see anyone. Everywhere was burned, everybody was killed. He goes up a high hill and sings the song "Lê Yarê" crying

یکی از بهترین ترانه های محلی که تا کنون شنیدم
صدای خانم یلدا در این ترانه بسیار گرم و احساسی است
The real story of "Le Yare"
"Le Yare" is a sad Kurdish song dedicated to the girls of the Bachwanlu tribe of Quchan, Iran, which dates back to the morning of Ramadan 13, 1905, and expresses the heart of a young shepherd of that tribe named Bahman and his lover gulnar.
A tribe of turkman racists attacked the tents of the Bachuanlu, killed all the men, burned their tents and took 63 women and girls captive, and forced them to marry Turkish boys, and others were sold in the cities around,
When Bahman heard that his village has been attacked and his lover was with the turks, he went back and saw that there was nothing left but the ashes of the burnt tents,
he ran after turks Pedestrian, but he was tired of hunger and thirst, with no escape of his sadness He sat down on a rock and took out his flute with his trembling lips he sang "lê yarê" for his loneliness.
the translation of the song
le yare : my lover
gulnare (my gulnar) : name of his lover
havale : my friend
todeay I am really sad le yare,
le yare , gulnare,
I'm looking everywhere ,
le yare, havale
,
I don't see a sign from you, gulnare
I don't see a sign from you, gulnare
The pain of my heart is very hard le yare
sadness ate my soul, le yare havale
i may never see you again le yare gulnare,
They killed the men and took the women
le yare gulnare,
they took my lover, le yare gulnare,
They sold them on the streets le yare,
today I am really sad
le yare,
I'm looking everywhere , le yare
but I don't see a sign from you, gulnare
I don't see a sign from you, gulnare
I think you mean Turkmen not Turkish, Turkish refers to the Turks of Anatolia.

Thank you, for your explanation I understand the tragedy but I give it a positive side in being calm and putting my mind at peace, I imagined a pain to the song for its interpretation of the singers, I imagined an encounter with some love, but now I understand the tragedy that happened in 1905.

When I found out about the song, I cried so much 😢 Every time I hear a song I remember how Kolnar lost
From time immemorial, it was written that we, the Kurds, must suffer
We suffer in , even in love
They stole our land , they stole our history, they stole our culture
They prevent us from speaking our language and also even in love they fought us as in the story of the song
Never heard this song without crying my eyes out.
Even now, i am crying like a baby
Our “brothers in islam” have always been our biggest curse.
Maybe, just maybe, in afterlife. God will reward us for what we have and still go through.
