Swapping the BEST JDM Engine into this 240sx project car

- Logan has built his Nissan 240sx S13 project car for a few years now. It is most definitely a clean example of a proper s chassis. However, it has had the stock engine KA24de in it this whole time. He is now ready to up the power on his project car. What better way to accomplish this goal than with an S13 SR20det!

It's crazy how busy you are with your own projects and you're helping your friends with their projects. I know they help you out too, but it's like you got the infinite energy glitch.
It definitely takes a lot of energy, but it's summer! Gotta get as much done as possible before it's freezing again!
@PrizzaMike speaking facts. it must be nice whether there. It's 112 almost everyday where I'm at. I have to replace an oil pump and power steering pump but the heat kills all my energy.

I miss these days. Back when jdm cars were cheap in Australia (15 years ago) we used to do this every weekend with someone's car followed by bbq and beers. Miss those days.

It’s crazy how much quicker the swap gets done with multiple people helping. To pull my motor it takes me an entire day by myself.

Very recommended a Broadway convex tinted mirror. Just measure the width in-between the sun visors and get as big as you can. I have a classic six panel NASCAR mirror in the Monte Carlo and a Broadway in wrx and you have the same amount of view in them both.

Pro tip. Take the engine mounts completely out of the way when dropping in an SR. Makes getting it in the last few inches way easier
Love these videos. 10:00 when doing an engine install, raising the rear of the car makes getting the transmission in easier.

It's definitely a good time just be careful with what you buy as iv had a 300zx and 180sx both blew up in 200km because they were filled with lucasoil (and nobody told me) and Sr20dets in aus are like 10k if you can't put it in yourself because you got t boned on a motorcycle lol

You should look into the L28 and L series nissan engines out of the early Z cars. Really good engines for swaps and dirty reliability and power
