    - If we reach 700 Patrons, we will donate 100% of that month's donations every 3 months! lets try and make people less fortunate, happy for at least for a little bit!

For years before I turned eighteen, I knew that I wanted to register as an organ donor on my license. If something were ever to happen to me I most certainly want my organs, or even just one of them, to be able to give others life. To know that a part of me could live on in even just one other person would most definitely let me rest peacefully. Organ (and even blood/plasma) donation is such a beautiful, wondrous thing that I don't think gets talked about enough. Life is such a precious gift, but for too many they don't get the opportunity to see that unless those of us who are more fortunate help them.

This is very beautiful! My mom received a double lung transplant just 3 weeks ago (I'm actually commenting this at the hospital because I've been staying with her!) and she's getting ready to go home in a couple days. She gets noticeably better every single day and she has a long future ahead of her now. I'm so, so grateful for people like you who give life to other people such as my mom. God bless you, you're more amazing than you know!

For the longest time, I thought it weird and scary that if I were a donor, I wouldn't be whole anymore after I passed and if I were a donor, somewhere might not try to save me if they thought they could salvage organs instead. Eventually I grew up and found that notion silly and selfish. I instantly put donor on my DL. My body is worthless when I'm gone anyway...if I can help after death, that is the ultimate thing I could ever hope to do.

I can only hope that my organs will be viable after my passing that they may be used to give someone a second chance. I don't plan on dying any time soon, but when the inevitable happens, it will bring me peace.
