Paradise AS FAST AS I DARE (Ski Racing Run at Big White)

If you know this run then I think you'll appreciate this one! One of my fastest ever attempts at Paradise. This is a Blue run at Big White that's used for ski racing and often has a bunch of gates and blue dye on it. It's quite quick and it's rare to get all the right conditions to go fast on it, at least on a snowboard. Enjoy!
Max speed about 83km/h. Not super fast but it's hard to go much faster on this run.
My name is Jarod/J-Rod and I'm a 1996er from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. I've been snowboarding at Big White since I was 12 years old and it has NOT been injury-free. I have had numerous hard falls and impacts to my head, one concussion snowboarding (and a few in other places), a shattered right shoulder (started in 2014, surgery in 2021), a fractured T9 vertebra (2015), and a shattered L1 vertebra (2022). I ride a 2021 NeverSummer Shaper Twin because it's the best snowboard on earth. This mountain is a special place to me, and it feels like home. Spoiled By Bad Line Choices is a joke about how you can have some really special experiences if you take lines that look so sketchy that most sensible people won't take them (my favorite is to go between very tight trees for the untouched powder). I have a unique work schedule and have a very fuel efficient car so I end up going alone a lot but I don't mind it!

Hey thanks! That beat is actually one I made myself - almost every video on the channel right now uses my own music except for a couple montages. Production was a hobby in university and I'm a lifelong pianist :)
