Hey Jim 😄you don’t know me, but I’m a huge fan of your work! I stumbled across your work years ago when I first bought a tenor banjo (I didn’t realize you can’t really play bluegrass on a four string 😅) but your videos encouraged me an pushed me to buy a five string!😄I’ve watched your cripple creek tutorials so many times I can practically say the words right along with ya 😅 thanks for making the best tutorials on RUclips!😄
great video Jim. i love the looks of the Mulheron banjo's. those stained heads are awesome, so unique. Lindsey is definitely an artist and craftsman. may be in the market for one in the near future.
Had the opportunity to do a build with Lindsey. Great time, reasonable price, awesome experience. Hit him up if you want to get a cool banjo or join one his build camps.
Jim sorry for the miss placed lesson suggestion Thanks for highlighting Lindsey Mulheron’s beautiful work I’ve Been wood working for nearly forty years Honestly admire his work and his music. Everyone should checkout his web site
Wow! Your videos are the highlight of my week. Writing and watching from Norway. My favourite was definitly The Racer. Do you know what tune he playd on this banjo?
Very Cool!! Waiting on my tee shirt from tee springs from yah out here in Oxford Pennsylvania. They said there was trouble with the first shipment but should receive this week. Maybe because I ordered a bigboy size 🤔 😆 love yah
Just discovered your site this week and working on Lesson 4. Jim - you're awesome. Especially how you break things down. Hope your health has returned.
Hey Jim, thanks for showcasing this amazing musician and artists work! Man, I'd love to get one eventually! Would you by chance know what brand straps those are? I'm wanting something like that for my RK-OT25. Thanks!
I see he's a drop thumb guy and designs his necks accordingly in some cases. Is there any reason these banjos wouldn't be just as suitable for 3 finger or melodic playing? I'm guessing it doesn't matter one bit but I wanted to ask regardless. Thanks Jim!
Wow I never thought of putting a drum dampener on a banjo. Very interesting. Beautiful instruments.
It’s a great idea that works. 😊

Thanks for letting me teach you ☺️
These are the most beautiful banjos I have ever seen! 😍😍😍
I’ll share that with Lindsey
Saving up for a good banjo. Can't wait, ready to hang up the cheap, starter banjo I've been banging on for the past year. Ready to step it up
New banjo day is always the best day. ☺️
Me too, man! I got a crappy amazon banjo and I’m looking for something nicer. I’ve been playing for a little over a year as well. Good luck!
Dear Mr. Pankey,
Hello from Japan.
Thank you very much for all the hard work and sharing it with all of us!
Sincerely,
Kai
Thanks for watching 😊
Fascinating Jim! Those banjos look and sound fantastic, great movie thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching ☺️

Jim I love listening to you play clawhammer it’s great
Thanks!
Very cool concepts and banjos. Thanks.
Thanks for watching 😊

Thanks for sharing that! Take a class from Lindsey, y’all.
ooooowow!!! Amazingly beautiful instruments!!! ART!
I’ll share your comment with Lindsey
Love this! The most my interest has ever been piqued by old time style. Aesthetics go a long way!
Your next banjo journal…
Luv the Appalachian....
Yeah, it’s a nice one.
Really enjoyed that, thanks for sharing. Just wondering, does he use truss rods in his banjo necks?
Yes
This is great and great sounding banjos! 👍👍👍
Thanks!

Really great looking and great sounding banjos.
Thanks 😊
Wow! Your videos are the highlight of my week. Writing and watching from Norway. My favourite was definitly The Racer. Do you know what tune he playd on this banjo?
Sounds vaguely like The Cuckoo… I’ll ask him when I see him.
Very Cool!! Waiting on my tee shirt from tee springs from yah out here in Oxford Pennsylvania. They said there was trouble with the first shipment but should receive this week. Maybe because I ordered a bigboy size 🤔 😆 love yah
Thanks 😊
Thanks Jim, can you tell me about the way Lindsey holds the banjo? Is he muted?
He holds it on his right leg. Just another option. Not muted.
I love these, but I have to admit I got a kick out of the camo banjo. It’s hilarious to imagine a hunter packing a stealth banjo for an elk hunt.
Right!?!
Elk don’t hear like we do!? HA
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING. THIS IS 👍👍🙏🙏🤗🌹
Thanks for visiting
Just discovered your site this week and working on Lesson 4. Jim - you're awesome. Especially how you break things down. Hope your health has returned.
Good luck on the lessons! You can do it!
Wish he made resonator banjos, however the examples he had online were incredibly beautiful!
Thanks for watching

Thanks!
He made them from an old belt
Beautiful craftsmanship! Hello from Texas!
Thanks for watching
Where is Mulheron Craft located, nothing on their website regarding location.
Brasstown, NC
Cool vid cool banjos
Thanks
That duet! 14:30
Thanks
OMG those banjos are Beautiful🤩🤩🤩 no prices on the website though, so I guess I can't afford one.😐
They’re great! Pretty sure they start around $2300
@@JimPankey Thank-you, I think they're worth every penny.🤩
Also 2300 USD is 20 grand Canadian so I was right all along.😂
I see he's a drop thumb guy and designs his necks accordingly in some cases. Is there any reason these banjos wouldn't be just as suitable for 3 finger or melodic playing? I'm guessing it doesn't matter one bit but I wanted to ask regardless. Thanks Jim!
Next time I'm over at his shop I'll pick one three finger for you. :)
@@JimPankey Bless you, Jim!
Beautiful banjos
Thanks
Can you do a lesson on "in the pines" please?
Maybe?
Reminds me that banjos are not just Bluegrass instruments
True!
Monroe’s Santa Claus might be a interesting lesson
Wish I played that one well enough to consider a lesson
Lay down a Stringbean classic. 🤠
You realize this is pre recorded, right?? 🫤
@@JimPankey not until after I had written the comment. Ha ha.
Can you do a banjo lesson on nothing but the blood of jesus
Probably not any time soon….
@@JimPankey that's alright
