Just wanted to say thank you. 7 bucks from Lowe’s and leaked fixed!!! I would add that I got the wrong size coupling first time. Found it’s printed on the hose.
I'm 17, and my dad hasn't had time to really teach or show me certain parts of the fridge, particularly the ice maker line. This vid just helped me a lot :)

VideoJoeKnows I cut the tubing, added the coupling and turned on the water. Viola! No leak! Learned a very important lesson about cleaning the coils, too. Do it! Often! I think air wasn't flowing across the coils and water was building up in the drain pan and not evaporating. Over time, that, plus the water that was spraying out of the pinhole leak, built to a critical mass. Your video was the perfect solution. I can't thank you enough.
🤗Wow thanks a lot! Will do! Fridge was leaking found outside waterline What is the problem turn off water supply line valve thenI bent it put it in the spout of a picture, taped the lid down -checked and dump the water out until it stopped leaking. So happy I found you on RUclips! Will do my fix myself! No money to the repair guys! Females can do things too ha ha!😉😉😉

I ended up just replacing the whole line because they didn't have those end caps readily available, but very informative video, very helpful. Still just cost me ten bucks and five minutes.
Glad you found this video! I have way more DIY videos on my channel that will save you money around the house. Just go to my main RUclips channel page then click on playlists & scroll down & have at it. You WILL save money. Try it!
Not sure how difficult it would be to replace the entire line but then again the end of the line goes up inside the back of the refrigerator so you would have to remove the backing piece to find out. This repair seemed to work just fine though so....this was part 3 of the project so make sure you watch all the other parts for more learning!
The videos were helpful. I saw how to use the saddle clamp which is not what I need. My water is leaking at each end where the coupling fits. Also I think I need a water line hose instead of the plastic water hose connected to the water outlet.
What did you end up doing for your repairs? Did you get a chance to watch the part two where I show how the coupling works & maybe your water line wasn't initially pressed all the way in to the coupling on both ends causing it to leak initially when you found the water leak? Just a thought. Hopefully I'm sure you got it fixed. Thanks for stopping by!
after i remove the water tube in the water valve, the metal clip that holds the tube in place broke, any idea where i can get replacement metal clips? or without the metal clip, how to hold the water tube in place? i have the lg lsc26905tt fridge.
You should be able to go to your local hardware store & pick up the needed parts. Go the appliance area or the plumbing area & speak to a salesperson. If you can bring the clip with you, that would be the best thing to do since if they don't have the exact part they might be able to locate a part that will work. Good luck & thanks for your message. Have a great day! Joe :0
Sorry. this was also part 3 & part one & two show stuff too. If you still want to check those out for next time then go to my main RUclips channel page then click on playlists & scroll down to refrigerator. Thanks!
That was the best I could do under the circumstances but I was still thinking I could show you & explain to you what I was doing so you could learn something new & maybe fix your leaking ice maker line.....
Ok then just keep wondering how I fixed this leaking refrigerator line without having to call a service tech out who would've charged me at least $150 trip charge then $50 material charge.
They have them at the Home Depot. All you have to do is ask a salesperson & they will show you where they are. This was part 3 of a video series & on part one I might name it or show you the package I got it in. Go to my main RUclips channel page & click on playlists then scroll down to refrigerator & they will be there.

Awesome to hear. Thanks for letting me know!
I have a problem with my fridge. the ice maker was out when we moved in. it started leaking again but only on the left side of the fridge. any advice?
Hmmmm is or was the leak coming from the actual water line? What did you end up finding?
Couldn' really see what you were talking about
Sorry. this was also part 3 & part one & two show stuff too. If you still want to check those out for next time then go to my main RUclips channel page then click on playlists & scroll down to refrigerator. Thanks!
Bad camera angle.
