- The ULTIMATE Thai Food Cooking Class in Chiang Mai, Thailand
Today we are learning to make Thai food! One of the biggest draws to Northern Thailand is the food and today we are taking a course to learn to cook a variety of Thai dishes. The class is vegan and vegetarian friendly but our instructor gave us tips on how to add meat to all of the dishes. The real reason we had such a great time at May Kaidee’s Cooking School was all thanks to our amazing instructor, Nim. Nim was kind, patient, and so knowledgable. She really made sure we had a fantastic day and gave us all the tips and tricks we needed to make DELICIOUS Thai food. We made 8 incredible dishes and we highly recommend you take this class if you’re in Chiang Mai.

This makes me want to take a cooking class on this trip, when I get there in February. My family would be so happy if I could cook some Thai classics for them when I get home!

I love that Sammy is rocking an African necklace and cooking Thai dishes in Chiang Mai. Some people wear Gucci and Louis Vuitton but Sammy just has some subtle details that make her more cosmopolitan and global.

Chiang Mai is most famous for its beautiful ancient temples, though there is much more to see and do. The striking mountainous landscape around the city provides a lot of wonderful natural attractions and is home to two tribal villages.
Yes when we were motorbiking we were able to see one of those villages! Love Chiang Mai 💜
That red curry paste with sticky rice is the simple meal in rural Thai. They are eaten along with fresh vegetables found around the house and boiled eggs and/or fried fish. So you have all the essentials components of a meal.

You so smart, not only travel but you get new experience for new idea food for any party when back home . Normally people in usa or europe try to make thai food but they don't know about any material or name to call in English .but now you know what you need even they use different name but you know the shape or smell. Good investment .

The food looks so delicious. I went to CM in 2018 (before visiting Bangkok), found it to be a very pleasant place. met some lovely Thai people there and some day will return. I'm not very adventurous with foreign food and totally dislike any hot spicey relish, despite saying no spice to the waitress had a few unpleasant surprises, but hey, give and take all part of the experience I guess. Did however fall in love with the coconut milk drink freshly made at the street stalls, yuuuuuummy.
We swear by Chiang Mai’s food! Some of our favorite from anywhere 🤤 What were the unpleasant suprises? That coconut milk is so fresh and delicious! Thanks for sharing George!

OMG everything looks so delicious, well done, Sammy! 😊 I will definitely try these soups and curries at home, I have been diving into Asian cuisine lately and I just fell in love with all the flavours and freshness. I am mastering the Thai Red Curry soup at the moment and I think I can have it easily 3x a week at least, it is sooo good haha... I want to take this class as well, it looked so much fun! 😃☺️

Misty, Foggy Forest ride in the rain is the highlight of Thai tour. For cooking class she charged you Bomb. It seems like Chutney that you cooked. A few Indian RUclips videos would have taught you better..
We did love getting lost in the fog and rain! We thought it was a great price for everything we learned and all the dishes. Once we visit India we will definitely do another cooking school! Any particular ones you would recommend and where? Thanks for watching!
@@SammyandTommy North East of India would give you almost same feel as your Thai tour, I would suggest you visit Punjab, Rajasthan, Goa for your Culinary curiosity plus exotic location. Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka and Kerala for beautiful beaches and Historical Temples. Anthony Bourdain too visited Kerala n Goa when he's here. ( He is no more)
