Servicing Dominar 250 at home. Oil changed to Motul 7100 4T.

Due to Covid had no opting to go to service centre as my bike started to give problems. The engine started to heat more n gear shifting was hard n too much of vibration on foot rest. after the oil change it solved all my issues it's one of the best recommend oil for dominar 250. I would suggest to go for it.

1.7lts as recommend by user manual. And you can see the mark on the engine oil check whn the bike is up right it's should be between two lines max n min.

A little bit of engine heating and a bit of vibration is there but not so bad as others and gear shifting kinda make noise when going from neutral to 1st when u start but people in service centre says it's due to slipper clutch bt after the oil change it has become a lot smoother

In how much kilometres gap we should change oil ?

Keep it minimum of 8000kms and max of 9000kms as later you will get heating issues and pickup will too deteriorate in time

Max to max 6k kms not more than that otherwise slowly depreciation of life of engine will start

@@rahhulchopra7628 yes if it's Bajaj oil. But if it's motul or castrol then easily you can ride 6500 to 7k. By the way my service center said if I change to motul then 5 years warranty will void. So either I use Bajaj oil or let go warranty. The current hp Bajaj oil was decent but looks like every 5k I will end up changing.
