Single Turbo 2JZ-Swapped Subaru Impreza GC8 - Drifting, OnBoard & Sounds!

Yesterday I was at the 2019 Drift Kings Italy Exhibition Round where I recorded Massimo Checchin' Subaru Impreza GC8 drift machine. Previously the car was powered by a stroked EJ20 engine, but now under the hood you can find a single turbo Toyota 2JZ engine able to produce around 700hp.

there are a ton of JDM engines. Also plenty of NA 2j's left.

The 2JZ engines have been used in various production vehicles from 1991 to 2005, and that leaves a lot of options floating around.

@@RS-nq8xk Yes, there are companies that do exactly that ,but mostly for racing solutions because it is prohibitively expensive.

You can buy them at any jdm distrubition center. Bout 3-4 grand for a good one. Just longblock with accessoires

He always used the EJ in his previous GC8. It was pretty and well tuned at sight, but he always had lots of problems with that engine
