Thanks! Recent SF Bay Area transplant and I was wondering how to get to the rock garden! Trying to get used to the rocky, exposed trails out here. More used to Demo/UCSC type trails in the Santa Cruz area.
Cool, welcome to SLO!!. To get up there you need to take the Cerro San Luis fire road up to the stage on top. I would recommend trail forks as there is two ways to get down and one is pretty sketchy but its a lot of fun out there.
This rock garden downhill was epic!!!
Thx man!!
That is a very fitting name for the trail. Looked like there was some serious arm pump going on there. Wicked video man. The ride looked like a good time
Thanks man, we had a really good time!!
Is the travel a little too much that it takes some momentum when you climb? I’m wondering if I should get this or a Santa Cruz Hightower
Gray Lamp in my opinion it’s a small loss in momentum and definitely worth the travel, I am however more interested in downhill than cross country but I think the bike climbs great
I reckon when it comes to bikes with a little bit more than usual travel it’s better to have the travel and not need it than need the travel and not have it
Dope ride 🤙🏽
