Back then, people just didn't see the kind of bullshit the basketball players are pulling now days. The fake falls, and rolling on the floor acting like they are in agony from absolutely nothing...not even touched hard by another player. They should be ashamed of their selves, it's disrespectful and a disgrace to the game and to the fans. They should be made to watch how a real man, like Larry Bird, played the game. He played with a broken eye socket, and once with a dislocated bone in his jaw, and another time with a fractured cheekbone combined with a concussion and double vision. He also played the last 7 years of his career with severe back pain...and often when he really was knocked off balance, or tripped up - he fell on his back, and it was easy to see he was in true agony from the fall. But he got back up and continued to play. The basketball leagues should levy Heavy fines for those absolute fake falls and such. It's not sportsman like, not respectful to the game.
