sir, does after processing all records at each transformation then forward the records to next transformation? or it it bunch wise or sequentially moved to next level transformation?
You try running in debug mode for better understanding and it depends on the transformation ( like aggregateor, sorter would use bunch) for rest it would be row by row
Thank you so much...Very informative video...I was actually looking for an scenario ..where my source record are not fixed and I want to populate only 1000 records into 1 flatfile and next set of 1000 records should write to another flatfile and the no of source record will keep changing everyday.Hope I can achive this my using transaction control .

@@TechCoach Now I have a problem, when I use this control and I need the generated files not to be in a specific directory but rather I have to host them via ftp to a specific server, it doesn't work for me, I get this error: "FileName Port is not supported with connection or merge option", any ideas?
@@carlosfabregas3578 usually files are created using informatica and sent using SFTP in a shell script.

Hi Vivek, Great way of explaining things!!!! I want to ask 2 things here...1. In output files records were repeated for single employee_id. Is it because each time workflow ran then records got appended or is there is any other reason for this? 2. Can we have only flat files as target for Transaction control transformation or can we have a scenario where relational target is also possible? Thanks in advance.
Aditya the way I mocked up my source data allowed me to have multiple rows for a single employee since he can make multiple sales and the records were not appended.
Regarding the 2nd question atleast I haven't came across a scenario where I used TC for relational target, If I had predefined possibilities I would rather use router transformation. I hope this helps.
