- In May 2014, a group of twelve of us met in Yeovil in England to attend a course in melodeon making. The course was organised by Alan Balding and was run by Emmanuel Pariselle. Theo Gibb, of 'The Box Place,' was also part of the team and was responsible for the reed tuning. The specification of the melodeons was two and a half rows, two voices and fourteen basses. I have finally found time to make a video showing you what a fun time we had! The aim of this video is to let you see how the instruments were made, to see what they look like and also to let you hear what they sound like. Emmanuel is running another course in France in July 2016. Perhaps once you have watched the video you might want to make one yourself! In which case, please get in contact with Emmanuel. Hope you enjoy the video! (uploaded 18 February 2016)
An unforgettable experience, I'm sure. And video. Everyone going home with a personal treasure.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever.
molto bello!
Bien Emmanuel! Well done! Proficiat. You told me about your plans on Trek Er Es Uut.
Au bientôt !
