Thanks for being the first and only person online who has covered this game in full. Playing pac in time on the Museum+ made me wonder about the history of this game and you did not disappoint!
I have say that Fury of the Furries is indeed possibly best platformer PC had in the 90's. I love how it combines puzzles and platforming in a way where you don't constantly need to have lighting reflexes like most platformers do, like Sonic, Mario and Jazz Jackrabbit games usually do. This one is kinda much more easy going so-to-say. Yet still very challenging game. Absolutely under appreciated title. At least least 9/10 for me.
I remember reading in gaming magazines about both Fury of the Furries and Pac in time back in the day, but I have never played them. Until todayI had no idea they are the same game!! 🤦🏻♂️🤣 Great video, thank you!
Hello again ! Me and my eldest son played this a whole lot when it came out. He continued long after I quit. It’s still one of his absolute favourites. I tried it on an emulator years later , but was sooo bad at it. I’ve lost ”the touch” , Hahaha. Thx for upload.
My stance on this game: If you buy it and all you do is boot it up and listen to the title track play on loop, you've already gotten your money's worth, haha. Great video!
Oooh; I've been looking forward to this video. Fury of the Furries is easily my most played Amiga game and still one of my top 12 favourite games of all. So many fond memories of this gem! 0:41 - Yep; one of those memories did indeed include the disk swapping. I remember having to swap the first flopping disk out almost immediately because it only contained the first cutscene. 1:18 - If I ever get a CD32 (which I'd love to own, as whilst I love Amiga, I'm far more so a console gamer), this is definitely a game I'd get for it. 1:52 - Oh gosh, the days of IP swapping when translating. It's really weird to think of it happening to a game you knew of in it's original form first and foremost. I'm familiar with games I'd later discover had been changed (like Decap Attack) but Fury of the Furries is the only one I can think of where I experienced it in it's original form first and foremost. 3:00 - I still get funny looks when I mention the title of the game to folks. Also, I was always under the impression that your playable character was 4 separate Tinies who tagged each other out. 7:43 - An this stuff I certainly had never heard of. None of those other entries seemed to have quite the same charm but I'm absolutely ecstatic to hear a sequel is in the works. It looks fantastic so far and I'll have to keep an ear out for further news on it; hopefully it'll get released on consoles too. Fantastic video here; brimming with information and trivia as well as many doses of personal touch and history.
One of my favourite games on the Amiga, absolutely incredible game. Finished it back in the day but not one I could finish today due to time constraints although those who do have time SHOULD make his a priority! 👍👍
The brainies looks so different from the original tinies game. I have a publisher demo version with buggy level on my Mac. On one level I can walk out of the screen until the computer crashes from a random memory
I`ve played it in the 90s and I remember it was a very hard game. Was´nt it? Very interesting are these references of Star Wars and Dune. Never realized it wether I know this worm startscreen very well 🤦♂️.
This game is absolutely fantastic! Great fun and amazing level design. I was over the moon to learn they are developing a sequel, but if I’m honest it looks like crap and the mechanics seem wrong... well, we always have the original to go back to. Thanks for the great video ;)

I loved this game. But I never got further than the jungle.😁
In other level at Village world there's Shakespeare's Hamlet with "to be or not to be" and droping down a skull. ;)
Nice! Thanks for sharing ;)
