@Danny Marrero Star Wars: Outer Rim is my go to pick up and deliver game for solo and multiplayer. Firefly is another good one, but I think it only has one solo scenario. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching! :)
This game looks super fun but I’m confused by the whole moving and assigning your little worker guys. Then again I haven’t read the rules so I don’t know why I wouldn’t be confused ;)
So many wee bits. I kept thinking computer registers. Makes me apprehensive over TE Dungeons which I’m expecting in December. I have a use for this game. It’s what I would pick up at my locally owned game store to show support. $20 well spent even if I never open it.
@JJE McManus You sound like me at my game shop, if I don't buy anything, then I'm just looking for something small to pick up. :) Gotta support our local shops!
Love your videos! It seems like many times you skipped moving the other ships when solo pirate crossed the line. Not sure if that would have changed the outcome.
@Scott Heartley Thanks for watching! Yep, the merchants were afraid to move at times. Hopefully the playthrough still showed the game experience ... with things that are easy to overlook. :)
One thing I don't like about this game is how infrequently you can level up. There is that entire card dedicated to all the cool stuff you can get at high level, but the optimal strategy seems to be get money win game. Chasing merchant ships takes time and fighting pirates gives free levels to the other guy.
Does the opponent pirate ship not get jostled when they move through a storm? I believe I saw it a couple times where the other pirate ship caught up to the merchant but went through a storm tile, but I did not see a crew member pulled off. Thanks.
@@DaletheCasualGamer Thanks for the info. I was thinking at first about picking it up, but now I am not so sure. It would be a good multi player game, but solo...maybe not. Thanks again.
@@chadgormly7887 I haven't played many pirate themed games, so still looking for something to fit that genre, but solo pick up and deliver type games I'd recommend Star Wars Outer Rim or FireFly. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the playthrough. What are some solo pick up and delivers you like more?

Thank you! This made more sense than anything else.
@0dnan Thanks for watching! :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer Would you do another Pirates solo play through with the expansion Curse of Amdiak or Dungeons with the Stories expansion?

@Michael Wages Once you get your sea legs, you'll do fine ... well, you'll do fine unless the Royal Navy hunts you down. ;)

@Chad Gormly I no longer have the game to check the rules, but very possible. :)
Thanks for watching!
AI is not affected by storms thankfully because that would be really annoying to deal with pretty much every turn,

Hoping my FLGS will be carrying this soon.
I hope so too ... or else they'll need to walk the plank! ;)
